Don't rent this vehicle. In fact don't rent any rv unless you have another plan if the vehicle you rent is not as described. It broke down three times. I'm a marine mechanic so I managed to make it work. There are so many things wrong with this thing I;m not even going to list. The drive train is going to go out soon. Manalo and Outdoorsy gave us 75% of our money back. It was a trip I would gladly pay that much to haven not taken. Definitely an experience we will never forget!

DO NOT RENT THIS VAN! I would give this review 0 stars but it doesn't let you. This car is in terrible condition. The car shakes when you go over 50mph, the shocks on the tires are loose. On our drive one of our tires blew out after the owner told us everything is in great condition. The backup camera does not work! Also, this van is NOT INSULATED!!!! If you are going somewhere cold do not expect to stay warm in this car. We were told that the car was insulated but there is no way! it was 40 degrees where we were and we had 4 blankets and were still freezing! We had to rent a hotel room to sleep and not freeze to death because even the portable heater we had didn't keep the car warm. When we brought all these concerns up to the owner and told him we wanted some sort of refund he did not work with us. He did not want to refund us our money for this broken car he rented to us. It you want an enjoyable van trip, this is not the van. We rented this van because we wanted a shower and toilet but we wouldn't even use the shower! On this trip we learned that you can take great showers at the truck stops for $10 and you can buy a small portable toilet at Walmart if you need one in any van you rent.

Manolo was wonderful to rent from. He met me at a central location near the airport. I'd suggest renting from him because he's flexible about meeting up. When I returned the vehicle we met at the tri rail station so that I could easily get to the airport and he wouldn't have to uber to a different location to pick up the van.
As for the van itself, it was quite homey, I really enjoyed the bed design and it was comfortable. There was a slight learning curve with the air conditioner but it worked well. I'm use to white noise to help me sleep, so it was perfect. I was stealth camping in my parents neighborhood. I was plugged into their electric & was able to use their home as my shower & main bath. It was really nice having a toilet on board for night time. It's a cassette, so I did the bag & bin vs using the chemical toilet & having to dump it. She-wee would have been perfect for my needs.
I didn't use the shower; cold water would have been fine if I was at the beach but since I had a hot shower 40 feet away I did that.
Since I got to my parents home late in the evening the first night I didn't cover the windows that well and it was a bit light; but day 2 I figured how to configure the shades and it was much better.
I totally want a Sprinter now! I didn't drive it much but it worked well for quick trips to the market & shopping around town. Since my parents don't have a car, I took my mom shopping & she was able to get into it via step ladder. Mom is 4'11" so at first she didn't thing she could get in, but it was perfect with the step ladder.
I am looking forward to renting this vehicle again. I was very happy with the time Manolo took to show me everything and he was super accommodating. Bottom line is rent it, it's a great introduction to van life.

I had an absolutely amazing trip in Manolo's sprinter! She has everything you need and Manolo was quick to answer any questions I had, including one question in the middle of the night. One thing to note is that the awning has to be opened by climbing onto the roof, so I did not use it.
