Rob was great to work with, he was willing to accommodate early pickup and late drop off, he also provided some great recommendations for our trip. The van was in good condition, ran great and we had a blast exploring the Eastern Sierras. The one thing to note is that it's pretty bare bones- luckily we were able to stop by my mom's house to get the supplies we needed for the week. we often fly to locations and rent a van for a week, had we not been close to family we would have ended up having to buy everything we needed (plates, bowls, silverware, bedding, cleaning supplies like sponges, dish soap, hand and dish towels). Overall a fantastic experience and we would rent from Rob again! Thank you Rob and Odin for a great Anniversary campervan trip ◡̈

Do not hesitate to rent. Rob spent a long time going over every detail and we had a fantastic time!
Do use the remote to close the fan on top of the van before driving.
Do bring straps and tie down your loads firmly.
Do pin where you parked as you may forget after a few margaritas when getting tacos (ask me how I know)
A doormat to keep dust down is really helpful.
Sleeping in it was very restful as all the windows have shade curtains that can almost entirely black out the whole van.
If I were traveling for more than a week I'd bring a thick topper to help out the standard thickness mattress.
Allot more than than you think for driving and picking up groceries. The van is 1.4 parking spaces long so pull through spots or along a sidewalk is best.

Odin was the perfect size camping vehicle and Rob made it easy to understand, pick-up and drop off. Easy to drive, great milage and very comfortable. Everything worked as explained. Was never worried about solar batteries running out. We used the extra camping gear and the kitchen, shower, and toilet were easy to operate and clean/empty on return. The master bed arrangement was perfect for me @ 6'3" with lots of ventilation on warm evenings. We would rent Odin again next time!

We had a great trip with Odin. Rob is an excellent host, and we enjoyed a fantastic Labor Day weekend with the van at a fairly remote California State Park campsite. Thanks to Odin, we were the envy of our camping group, and it was a dream to drive.

Such a fantastic time. We traveled nearly 3000 miles to Montana and environs. The van was incredibly good to drive and very comfortable. Turns out toddlers can be challenging to travel with.

My husband, my 57lb dog and me rented Odin for 15 nights and we had such an amazing time! This is a very confortable van and everything is built so smart in Revel.

Fabulous experience with Odin. Rob could not have been more friendly or helpful. Everything was exactly as advertised in the posting. Odin is well-stocked and clean, and Rob's coffee was an outstanding plus. We may convert to pour-over after this trip. :)

After years of tent camping, we decided to try out a camper van. Renting Odin was a great introduction. Rob made the experience satisfying, starting with his clear and responsive communication. When we picked up the van, Rob was friendly, thorough in his orientation, had the van immaculately clean and in top running shape. Odin couldn’t have been more comfortable. We especially liked that it was entirely self-contained, needing no hook-ups for the duration of our four-day trip. We had a great trip and would enthusiastically recommend renting from Rob.

We finally did a Covid-delayed RV trip to try out the lifestyle. I wanted to try the latest safety technology from Mercedes, so I looked for a well-equipped 2021 Sprinter-based RV. Rob Rose's Odin, a 19' 4x4 Winnebago Revel, fit the requirements well. We traveled first to Carrizo Plains National Monument seeking boondocking, silence and wildflowers. We found the first two, but not the flowers. Still, being awakened by coyotes in the middle of the night is a very nice experience. Due to the drought and reports of no wildflowers in Antelope Valley, we then diverted to the Sierra foothills near Mariposa. We found great wildflowers in the Merced River Recreation Area, especially along the trail to Hite Cove. As we headed toward home, we were startled by hillsides overwhelmed with yellow bush poppies--flowers we've seen previously only as isolated bushes in Pinnacles National Park and a few Sierra foothill locations. These were just south of the junction with Mount Bullion Cutoff Rd and Rte 140.

Rob was fantastic to work with. Very friendly, informative, and quick to respond to texts.We enjoyed Oden thoroughly on a trip to LA, Sedona, Scottsdale, and back. No issues with the van at all and the delivery and pick up were both smooth and on time. In addition to all of that loveliness, his coffee was fantastic! My daughter asked on the way home from our trip if we can get Oden again. I said absolutely!

This is the first time my wife and I tried a drivable camper van. We have tried towing a teardrop before but found that to be a bit cramped. We picked Rob and Odin because the vehicle is very new we want to test and try out a Sprinter with it's higher headroom, 4WD in case of inclement weather and ability to cook outside the van with the portable inductive stove. Oh and not having to make/convert the bed back to couch every day.
Our experience with Odin (revel 4x4) and Rob was top notch. Rob was super responsive, accommodating and informative. The van is super clean and in excellent condition. During the trip, I had some question on the heater and Rob walked me through how to address it.
Overall it was a great experience and we have no reservation recommending Rob to other camper lifers.

Odin is amazing! There I said it. Now don't everyone go out and rent Odin out from under me. I realize the risk of writing the well-deserved review, but I am doing it anyway since Odin and the lovely owners deserve a great rating. My spouse and I rented Odin to accompany my mom on her maiden voyage with her new 2021 airstream recently. My mom's trailer is an amazing and beautiful piece of art, but towing the silver nugget is a little complicated, with a big learning curve. In contrast, Odin is amazing, solid, sturdy, with intuitive controls, and luxurious to boot. Odin is like a five-star hotel which you can drive out into the middle of the wilderness. Wow. Odin is a dream come true for an outdoor adventurer who may want a new experience, a super comfortable rig to venture into the outdoors to places which are unreachable with, say, a German SUV like mine with low clearance, nice enough, but no comparison to the 4x4 Sprinter Odin. And, by the way, the owners are the nicest people ever, and they graciously rent this amazing vehicle to people like you and me, and your dogs too. Thank you!! I highly recommend renting Odin, you will not be disappointed. Odin is the best! But like I said, please don't everyone rent it out from under me for the entire year, I can't wait to take another adventure in that awesome rig. Thank you Rob and Angie for a great experience!

Rob was great from beginning to end. He answered questions quickly and courteously, and went the extra mile (more like a hundred miles) to make my trip to Pinnacles National Park really enjoyable. The van handles well on narrow winding country roads. And as a bonus he gives you some of the best coffee in the worlds. His enthusiasm and can-do spirit would lead me to recommend him again and again.

Perfect. The vehicle was just as listed and the service was exceptional. Upon pickup the host was very conscious of of COVID guidelines and walked me through everything I needed to have a great trip. Everything worked as described and I had no issues during the trip. I returned the vehicle early in the morning and the host accommodated without issue and handoff was a breeze. If I’m going to rent a sprinter again, I’m renting this one :)

Revel was great, perfect condition as if it just rolled out of the dealership. Rob prides himself in keeping everything clean. He was a great host, and took considerable amount of time going over the van. He was responsive when you have a question and flexible on pick up and drop off times. All in all it was an excellent experience renting from Rob. Highly recommend...

Odin, a brand new (3000 miles when I got him) 2021 Revel was a treat! The new Lithium Ion battery system with dedicated alternator let us be off grid the entire trip.
