We are a Colorado transplant family (from California and Minnesota) who live full time in Denver but escape to explore the outdoors whenever possible! We LOVE the Colorado mountains and escape to Granby as often as possible. We own a mountain home in Granby and had a pop-up camper for a few years but wanted to add a motorhome for occasional personal use and for all of your enjoyment! Happy Trails!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What details do I need to know about the RV when booking a campground?
A.
Some details about our Motorhome that you will need when reserving a campsite: RV length: 29" 2 Slide Outs (both on left side) 30amp Electrical Hookup Ideally look for full-hookup campsites (water, sewer, and electric) - You don't need these to enjoy the motorhome, but it will be easier if you are new to this.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Renting our unit will include video overviews and detailed step by step video and written instructions for everything about this unit. You will have the resources on a tablet included with the RV rental. Additionally, Outdoorsy had a toll free phone number if needed for additional troubleshooting and we are also assessable through the chat platform in Outdoorsy.

Q.Do this unit require a special drivers license?
A.
No just a regular drivers license is needed. This unit is bigger than most vehicles on the road but it drives much like a moving truck. In fact, the chassis of this motorhome is a regular Ford E450 truck. The large panoramic windshield also makes it easy to see all in front of you while driving, and the rear camera helps when backing up the unit.

Q.How many miles per gallon does this unit get?
A.
Expect between 8-10 depending on your terrain. The fuel tank is 55 gallons so expect about 400-500 miles before needing to fill up!
