We had a great road trip with the RV that has a toilet, shower ,fridge and more after the global pandemic made other travel plans unsafe or difficult. The owner is friendly and responds quickly. It’s a good experience of renting a RV.

It was the my first trip with a RV. My family become a fun of that. My kids said “I do like the traveling again!”.

Normally I am not one to write a review, however the whole rental experience was extremely poor. Here is my experience, I hope to provide you with a honest look before you decide to rent with this gentleman.
Before renting I specifically asked if there was any issues with the RV that I should be aware of and I was told just the shower door had normal wear n tear but not much else. False, passenger side mirror will not stay adjusted, bathroom door does not close (used shower curtain), previous water leak under sink still present, thermostat heater very difficult to use. I was also charged a cleaning fee for shampoo that was accidently spilled on the way of RV return and toilet stains that were not scrubbed. Overall very bad experience.
The dispute on cleaning charges ended up with 100% one sided and unsatisfied decision. To me that is abuse of security deposit.

The positive side of this RV Rental is that initially the communication was fine, no mechanical issues as in we didn't break down, and RV was very clean.
The down side is the following :
-To start, upon picking up the RV, we discovered the owner was on vacation so we met with the owner's relative who said he knew nothing about the unit. He simply did the inspection and issued the keys. It was our first RV experience so getting our basic and essential questions answered wasn't possible. My husband researched and figured out how things in his own.
-The kitchen sink had a leak, which appeared to be a previous issue looking at the patchwork on the pipe. It was confirmed that this was a known issue. This was a huge inconvenience because not only do we need to clean up our dishes in the smaller bathroom sink, but I also had to wash my baby's bottles there which felt unsanitary.
-There was some sort of leak from the gray line hose.
- The water pump couldn't stay on because it rumbled loudly every 60 seconds. Not sure if that's normal?? So this had to be kept off unless there was a need for water such as flushing the toilet.
- Fire alarm went off at 3:30 am but there was no fire. The alarm would not stop even after resetting it so we had to remove the batteries. Not a good night rest. Turns out, the batteries needed to be replaced.
I did not want to write this review and gave the owner time to respond to my concerns about the experience. Instead, he chose to ignore it.
Bottom line, I would only recommend this RV if the issues we had were resolved. Otherwise, it is not worth paying full price for something that is partially working.
