From the very begging, our host Evan was extremely responsive via text messaging. It was our very first RV trip over 2 nights, so we had some nervousness going into it, but Evan made it painless. The 2019 Winnebago Minnie Winnie was great working and driving condition. Evan also gave us an in-person tour as well as a link to a tutorial that he posted on YouTube. We used the propane stove to cook meals, the stove to bake cookies, and the warm shower to freshen up. When we had a question regarding lighting the pilot flame for the stove, I texted him well into the evening but he responded right away. The refrigerator that ran on propane worked flawlessly and kept our perishable foods very cold. Every lighting fixture worked well. Evan has had trouble with renters breaking the outdoor awning system, so he had it disabled for now. We were fine without the awning as we hung out mostly inside, and the screen door and window screens allowed for plenty of breeze in.
Random Tips: To get the stove going, you need to bring a long-nose lighter, and light an element found under the bottom-most level in the center. So make sure you bring a long lighter if you plan on using the stove. The cooktop had its own built-in lighter. There was a double outlet on the left side of the kitchen sink, and another double outlet down under the dining table. Additionally, there were 2 powered USB ports above the main rear bed headboard. Also, if you are taking a deuce, the toilet will have very little water in the bowl by design. There is a flush lever on the right. In order to pre-fill the bowl, you need to pull the lever 1/3 the way only, and it will allow the bowl to fill without draining. It will reduce your need to clean the bowl afterwards. You're welcome.
We felt that Evan made sure the RV was cleaned well before each trip which put us at ease given this challenging year of COVID. We look forward to renting an RV again. Our daughter is already asking for our next RV trip and we will definitely book with Evan again. He has a handful of different RVs of different sizes to choose from too. Highly recommended.
