We had a great time with the RV—it was our first experience both driving and vacationing in one! We traveled to McCloud, CA near Mt. Shasta to visit family. Fred gave us a detailed and patient walkthrough of how everything worked before we left, which was incredibly helpful. During our trip, we had a couple of questions, and he responded quickly and kindly each time. The RV was in excellent condition and easy to drive.

I rented this RV for a round-trip from California to Oregon to pick up my mother-in-law, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The RV drove really well—surprisingly smooth for a vehicle of that size—and the built-in driving assistance features were a huge help on the road.

It was an absolute pleasure renting the Siesta from Fred. I read all his reviews prior to reserving the rig and glad to say that they were all spot on. The communication was A+, Fred responded (within minutes) to my initial message inquiring about the rigs availability, and it was smooth sailing from then onward. Fred was very patient with explaining how the hook-ups work, general functions of the RV's features, as well as how to safely maneuver a 26 foot rig. Within minutes of being on the road, I felt comfortable and well adapted to driving it (I wasn't even exhausted after a 9 hour drive to Joshua Tree).
The RV itself is a gem! Newly upholstered cabin and living area, a conduction stove that was super safe with a kid in tow, 3 HD TVs with lots of DVD movies for places without good signal, games, and all the essential supplies needed for a few days on the road. Fred was very gracious and allowed us to leave our car in front of his house while we were on the road. He checked up on us occasionally to make sure we were good, and even offered an opportunity to extend our reservation if we so wished to.
Overall...it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to hitting the road again with this rig.

This RV will be an excellent choice for anyone. This was our first RV trip. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but after 1 day, we were extremely confident with what we were doing. Some might say the 1.5 hour tutorial is too much, but after having it, I say I was glad to have it. There was nothing which was not explained.
My wife and I drove to Oregon and then to Washington, stopping at campsites along the way. This was a great hotel on wheels.
You can feel confident with the amenities onboard.
The generator was a nice back up, as we dry camped for a few days. It was quiet and did not use much fuel. The solar panel kept the house items running during the day and the battery was more than enough to work overnight.
The RV drove like a car. Plenty of power and braking was better than expected.
Fred was a great instructor and he knows every aspect of the RV.
You can feel confident with choosing this vehicle for your next camping get away.

We had a great trip, we only drove a little over 100 miles in the RV. It was easy to drive and park. Fred was very thourough with his tutorial on how the RV was to be used. He explained everything in detail and showed us how to use everything from hooking up at the campsite to useing the digital keypad. His instructions were a great help once we arrived at camp, we felt confident to set up. He was just a phone call away if we needed anything.

Our overall experience with Fred’s RV was great.
The RV drives well, the packing up and unpacking was easy. Fred does a great job making you feel confident by the time you leave for your adventure. The cost was a little pricey. Some feedback for the potential RV renters:
The RV had
- pot/pans but NO utensils that could be used with those pots/pans
- paper products as in toilet paper but no napkins or paper towels
- There was no dish soap but a scrubber was provided
- shampoo/conditioner was provided
- 4 folding camp chairs and an outdoor entry rug
- paper plates, plasticware, plastic cups, and plastic knives
- coffee maker/coffee BUT no coffee mugs
- sheets, blankets, and pillows (if you are going somewhere where it’s cold bring heavier blankets)
- towels only for showering so bring your own beach towels
- small outdoor table, DVD player, toaster and all items to hook up in a campsite.
We appreciated Fred in his flexibility and ease in communication- THANK YOU

This review is for both Fred and the RV itself. Fred was straight forward and awesome to deal with. He was great at communicating before, during, and after the trip. His orientation of the RV is very detailed and helpful for novice and expert RV’ers alike. The RV itself was great. They have it stocked with essentials, just add food and clothes and off you go. The RV is in really good condition with enough space for myself, my wife, and two young boys. Being a smaller RV on a sprinter chassis it was easy to drive. We drove it along the CA coast with ease (even doing a number of 3 point turns along the way). I would totally recommend this RV and Fred! Thanks for renting your RV to us, we had an awesome trip!

Using Fred’s RV was great, Fred was very communicative before and during out trip, everything in the RV worked great, very clean and if we had any questions, we texted him and he responded ASAP. The only suggestion I would make is that if you are going to do your own cooking bring supplies you like to cook with and also if you plan on using a BBQ at your campsite, bring utensils, tablecloth and maybe some candles :) It was a great hiking adventure in the Ruby Mountains!! This was our very first RV experience & definitely won’t be the last. The RV drives smoothly & it felt like driving a large SUV. We drove through Hwy 101 & to see the Redwoods and Oregon coast; the RV maneuvered with no problems. Hook ups were easy peasy, Fred gave us a 1.5 hour detailed orientation. He was also available for any questions & concerns, responds quick to texts/call. It’s a definitely a family friendly RV, plenty of room to sleep. It has everything you can possibly need. Fred was kind enough to provide us with all the necessities (pots, pans, paper products, pillows, flashlights, batteries, & a lot more). My family & I had a memorable trip, it was fun to unplug & enjoy quality time; we are grateful we got to experience our first RV trip with no issues, thanks to Fred’s RV.

Our first time renting an RV and the last. The ride is horribly stiff. The cab is so loud and noisy with the screen door rattling and things squeeking you couldn’t hear yourself think. Freaked out our usually calm dog. Cannot take even a cowboy shower. Impossible to adjust the hot water temp before it runs out. We rented too small a rig for us to be comfortable, but wouldn’t want to drive a bigger one, our mistake. Our test proves RVing is not for everyone.

I would point out that these reviews are designed to provide some insight into a renters opinions related to various components of their experience. Things like how the owner treated them, provided good service, made themself available while you were on the road to mitigate any problems, the RV itself - whether it was as advertised, or otherwise. It is not designed to be a venue to rate your own decisions about how good of a life fit RVing is for you. These reviews are helpful to others to understand whether the owner and their RV is a good fit for their purposes and not to unfairly rate an owner for your not being comfortable with the RV experience. My husband and I rented Fred's RV for our mini-moon, and we are so happy that we did! Fred gave us a 1.5 hr orientation and always made sure that we asked any questions we had before and during our trip. Our greatest worry at first was the hookups, but after the orientation, it gave us the confidence to not have any issues! He provided almost everything (besides food/beverage lol) we needed for our trip, which gave us peace of mind of not needing to pack/unpack a lot. The RV is very roomy and pet friendly too! We're so happy that we chose Fred's RV as our first RV experience! We'll definitely rent from him again!

Freds RV was amazing, all the bells and whistles for a comfortable home away from home. I felt completely confident in the mechanics and reliability of the vehicle. We rented the coach for 6 days and were really happy we did. The engine was great and very easy to drive. The coach had plenty of room for my husband and I. Good seating area and the bed was really comfy and were happily surprised. We are use to a temperpedic and the bed was pretty close to one. Fred was great. He gave a thorough explanation as to how everything worked which was very helpful to us. We called him from the road a couple times and chuckled when the fix was so easy and that we hadn't thought of it ourselves. Great vacation and would definitely rent from Fred again.

Excellent experience for our family . this was our first time in a RV and Fred made it very easy and pleasurable. The RV itself is in excellent condition and is easy to drive and operate. It was clean and equipped with everything you would need on the road or at camp. Its obvious Fred takes good care of the RV and he thinks about every detail from the kitchen gadgets to extra blankets to a floor mat for wiping off the beach sand. Fred responded very quickly to my message and was a pleasure to communicate with. He spent as much time as we needed explaining how to operate every system on the RV and made sure we felt comfortable. We could not have hoped for a better experience and would highly recommend working with Fred and his RV. Thank you for a wonderful winter vacation !

We were very impressed with Fred's RV. It is a very solid, beautiful, and well-maintained RV. He provided a thorough orientation and walkthrough of the unit. Fred was very responsive and easy to communicate with before and during our trip. As others have mentioned, Fred has the RV stocked with cooking utensils, dish wear, silverware, cups, coffee maker (and coffee!), skillets, cooking pot, bedding, pillows, towels, RV TP, cleaning supplies, broom, a vacuum, and more. Also included are 4 outside camp chairs, a small table, a small propane BBQ, and an outdoor area rug. The unit even has 3 TVs (one outside, two inside) and Fred provides a small library of DVDs. We were dry camping for 7 nights at a remote campground in the Sierra so we opted to enjoy evenings by a campfire with our friends rather than watching TV. Everything worked perfectly for the two of us (refrigerator, water, generator, shower, lights, awning, etc.), and the bed was very comfortable. My husband found the RV very easy to drive. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this unit again from Fred and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fred and his rental to others. Overall, great RV rental experience!

Upon selecting Fred's RV for our trip to San Diego, Fred contacted me the very next day, to set up a time to go over my decision to use his RV and go over any concerns prior to meeting. Setting up a date and time was very easy and going over the entire RV's nuances was extensive and thorough. He took all the time we needed to understand all the features of the RV until we knew how to operate the RV with confidence. And what an RV he has! It had alot of accessories that most of the other RV's we were looking at did not have. He made sure we had access to him for any concerns all throughout our vacation.
He is extremely friendly and courteous and a perfect renter to do business with. I highly recommend using his RV on your next vacation.

Fred and his RV was an all around great experience for a 9 day trip we took up the coast of California into central Oregon and back down into Napa. Pickup was smooth and easy. Fred was very thorough in going through all the features and explaining how to work all the systems in the RV and also included binders with all that information if you didn't catch something on the walkthrough. He was even nice enough to let us leave my truck at his house during our trip. He was very easy to communicate with both before picking up the RV and also throughout our trip when we had any questions. This RV is nearly brand new, top of the line everything and has all the bells and whistles one could possibly need in a 25 footer. As someone who has never driven an RV before, I was a bit intimidated at first. I found this RV very easy to drive after just a few miles of getting used to it. It has plenty of power to get up the hills and was great on gas mileage. Everything Fred listed in the listing is accurate. This thing has just about everything. Fred also has taken the time to think about what one might need on a trip and included a full kitchen set up (pots/pans/plates/bowls/silverware/kitchen utensils), as well as garbage bags, paper towels, soap, sponge and RV toilet paper. Fred also included exterior items like a couple folding chairs, a folding table, outdoor rug, easy-to-use leveling blocks, and a propane grill (with propane!). There's probably a few other things that I'm forgetting to mention but suffice it to say, Fred probably has you covered. Bedding and towels were included and he also included a few extra blankets/towels for our 9 day trip. He has added a memory foam topper to the bed and it is super comfy. The two slide outs and awning were all electronic and easy to extend/retract with a tough of a button. The two chairs up front were plenty comfortable enough for 8+ hour days on the road and they swivel around completely to create extra seating while parked. We used the bunk for storing stuff since there were only two of us, but would be fine for an extra person to sleep. I also believe the couch turns into a bed, but we didn't use it. The kitchen inside was plenty spacious with a huge sink (for an RV), a good amount of prep space and a single burner induction stove top. There is also a combo microwave/convection oven below that worked great. There was also a table that was easy to set up and remove. We did both dry camping and sites with full hookups on our trip. Fred has everything you need in the RV to hookup power, water, sewer and cable when camping at full hookup sites. For dry camping, the generator was super easy to use with just a press of a button to turn it on and off. It was also fairly quiet compared to some other generators we could hear. The bathroom had plenty of room and although we didn't end up using the shower inside, it would have been fine. There's also lots of extra storage space both internal and external for anything you might want to bring along. I was a little hesitant since Fred didn't have any prior reviews as this was his first time renting his RV, but all around, this was a 5 star experience. I wouldn't hesitate for one second to recommend anyone else renting from him and I hope that we can rent from him again in the future. Thanks for the awesome trip Fred!
