Owner Responsiveness and Communication

Renters consistently highlight the owner, Scott, as an excellent communicator and highly responsive. He is frequently described as 'wonderful,' 'awesome to work with,' 'super nice,' and an 'amazing host.' Reviewers appreciate his thorough explanations, like 'gave a great rundown of the ins and outs,' and his constant availability, 'answered all our questions as they arose' and 'responsive to questions by call or text.' His willingness to solve problems, such as providing coolers when the fridge failed or lending his personal car, further solidifies his strong communication and responsiveness.

Vehicle Condition and Comfort

Renters frequently comment on the RV's condition, encompassing its mechanical performance, comfort, and functionality. Many praise it as being 'great,' 'drove like a gem,' 'ran great,' and 'comfortable' despite its age, noting amenities like the stove, oven, and microwave 'worked well.' However, some reviews highlight significant issues, such as the vehicle not shifting gears on hills, not exceeding 45 mph, or having high fuel consumption. Concerns about cleanliness ('dirty with hair in the drain'), comfort ('uncomfortable sleeping space' due to the bed), and amenity failures (toilet, generator, refrigerator) are also mentioned, indicating that while it often meets expectations for an older RV, specific aspects can vary.

Scott was wonderful. His RV was great! Highly recommend if you are taking a trip to Denali. Scott worked with us throughout the entire process and answered all our questions as they arose.

We had an amazing trip in this RV that we named Ol’ Granite for our adventures! It was my first time driving an RV and was a bit longer than I had initially set out to rent but he drove like a gem and was easy to maneuver, park and turn around! Scott was very easy to work with and gave a great rundown of the ins and outs so that when we pulled out on our journey I felt confident and comfortable that we’d have smooth travels. While the RV is an older vehicle, it really met all of our needs and more! Very comfortable and accommodated our party of 3 adults and an Alaskan Husky perfectly. Myself and the doggo are now completely sold and determined to live the RV life—thank you Scott for allowing us to rent “Ol’ Granite” he truly made our adventure complete and our experience one we’ll talk about forever!
