Once booked, I will send the available items and counts, and if you don’t need them (such as dog leads, dog bowls, bike racks, beach chairs, beach toys), we can add or remove from the camper.
We have a spiral notebook with all set-up and take-down instructions, as well as some troubleshooting instructions to make your stay easy!
If you plan on camping without electric, water or septic hookup, please let us know at time of booking so we can explain how that all works thoroughly.
The camper has a gas Ford E 450 engine and is actually pretty easy to drive. I’ve made it up and down the PA turnpike, through the mountains. The tow hitch is rated for heavy towing (7500 lbs), so can handle an SUV or small trailer, if you have access to these (you can rent a dolly from Uhaul for 2-wheel drive car). We have a bike rack or hitch tray available for use as well.
My husband is a firefighter and I made him drive the first few trips because I was wary. Now, I can take it anywhere on my own and can park, set up and clean out. If I can do it, so can you!
If you are new to RV camping, I don’t recommend taking it to a site without hookups. This is a huge house on wheels and takes full hookups to enjoy all the features. Running the generator 24/7 is not a viable option in most places. We can talk your trip over by phone if that helps.
Dogs only and please do not leave your dog unattended if they will destroy anything! RVs are not as sturdy as houses and a scared pooch can go right through the window or door! No cats at all (I am severely allergic).
No smoking inside and please call if you have questions. RVs can be tricky and need troubleshooting!
