Zane was an awesome host. The Green Machine has character and personality. Once you get to know her, you love how she takes you around with ease.
It is comfortable for two people to have a great trip. The full bed fit my 6'4 with some twicking but we manage to have 4 great night sleeps.
Will highly recommend this host and Campervan. And for sure will be using it again in the future if still available.

Zane is amazing! He is organized and was helpful at every turn. He was very flexible and made the whole process easy and fun! The Green machine may be older, but she gets you from A to B. Everything was available to be off grid even though I stayed close to the city. You need to pay attention to directions (sometimes I don't LOL) so you can understand how the power source works. I would use the Green machine again if I come back to the D.C area. Thanks again!

The Green Machine was perfect for a weekend trip! Very comfortable and stocked with supplies. We purchased the kitchen essentials add on and had everything we needed. Zane was super helpful and responsive before, during and after our trip. He does a thorough walk through of the van so you know how everything works and was available during our trip when we had questions.

We are so grateful that we got to rent from Zane. When I tell you this van has everything… it has EVERYTHING: stove, chairs, canopy, mood lighting, spices, utensils, mini fridge. In terms of value, you really can’t ask for more. On top of that, Zane was communicative, supportive, and helpful - going so far as to provide recommendations for us during our stay in Shenandoah. He gave my boyfriend a thorough walk through that left us with no further questions and all the knowledge needed for how to handle the vehicle down to the minute quirks! All in all, you can tell there was a lot of love that went into the build of this van and it will be with you on your trip. Thank you Zane, for making my boyfriends birthday weekend special by sharing the green machine!

Awesome host and affordable car. If you're traveling on a budget and mostly exploring nature and the country and not staying in your RV for the whole day then this is definitely getting used to. I'd just advise that you're comfortable with driving larger trucks and not just tiny cars.

Zane was awesome and the van was perfect! We rented it for a music festival and lived out of it for 5 days and it had everything we needed. My wife and I are both tall people so we were worried about the bed, but we slept diagonally and had no problems with comfort. The bug net was key and we were able to keep the doors open for the entire festival with no critters creeping in. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing trip around the Chesapeake Bay in the Green Machine! It is perfect for camping and drives very well for an older car. The bed was extremely comfy and I enjoyed all the storage and fun twinkly lights. It was a great first experience in a camper van and cannot wait to do it again!

The van was awesome to stay in for the weekend while I went to Firefly Music Festival! Zane generously provided many things for us to use while on our trip, including cooking utensils, lights, basic cleaning supplies, and more. Zane was very helpful from before the trip even started up until even after we dropped the van back off. He thoroughly explained everything we needed to know about the van upon our arrival. I was able to keep in contact with him during the whole trip and he gladly helped with any questions or problems I ran into. Zane and the Green Machine made my weekend at the festival absolutely amazing!

We had an awesome road trip through West Virginia in Zane's Green Machine, and the van is now certifiable as toddler-proof! It was great to drive, both on the highway and on the forest roads of WV, and the compact but convenient layout meant that my 13 month-old could romp around whilst also being in arms reach, to keep him out if trouble. We appreciated Zane's flexibility, relaxed approach and excellent communication throughout, and this has been an excellent first experience with Outdoorsy. We hope to be back for another trip in the Green Machine soon - Life is Better in the Mountains!

Zane was fantastic to work with. The Green Machine is just that, Green, and a MACHINE. We took the van all around the Mid-Atlantic, through windy mountain roads and it never missed a beat. Couldn't recommend more highly.

My 1.5 year old Irish Setter Lucas & I loved our trip in the Green Machine! Zane was extremely helpful in every way. He introduced us to the Machine thoroughly & carefully. He was then available throughout the trip when needed. The Machine is easy to drive & even though Zane describes the driving as being "floaty" at speeds of 65-70 MPH I did not have any problems at those speeds. Zane provides dishes, cutlery & pots & pans. The bed was super comfortable. We spent 3 days in the Pine Barrens at a semi-primitive campground, the rest of the time we stayed with my family in North Jersey & my college roommate in South Jersey. And one night in a Cracker Barrel parking lot :). We were the only ones at the campground in NJ! It was so much fun. And we took a ride on the Cape May-Lewes ferry. The Machine took it all like a champ!

We had a wonderful experience camping with the van!! Zane was super nice to accommodate us and explained the process in detail. It’s an older van but we had no problem driving it. It had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway.

We had an awesome time in Zane’s van! We loved the fun vintage vibe and were super comfortable the whole time. The mattress was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept! We would highly recommend Zane’s van for anyone looking for an awesome home away from home

This was a fantastic experience. Zane went through the in's and out's of the Green Machine and was very flexible in accommodating our travel needs. The van came fully equipped with all the materials (bug nets, small lanterns, table, chair and even cook stove with propane!) we needed. The fridge worked well and the bed was SO comfortable!!!!

Zane was very thorough and professional on his tour and check out of all the systems of his van when I picked it up. It was perfect for the 4 nights of solo camping I was doing in rural Virginia. It had the all space I needed and the bed was very comfortable. The folding table fits nicely behind the drivers seat and I used it and the included Coleman camp stove to make coffee every morning with my French Press.
His system of covering the door opening with netting to keep the bugs out worked really well.
It was very hot and sunny most of the weekend; or it was rainy. So a good mix of weather and I stayed nice and dry. TIP: Bring a 10x10 canopy to shade your outdoor living room. Also some old tapestries to hand on the side of the canopy makes for good sun protection. The solar powered ceiling fan was great to sleep with it blowing on me...made it much more comfortable. One night when it was raining, I plugged my own 110 volt desk fan into the inverter...the ceiling fan does not operate when raining.
