I rented joy for a solo adventure around NorCal's National & State Parks. There was plenty of space for just me, would've been more if I had only packed using carry-on sized luggage. I left the bed flat the whole trip, used the front passenger seat as my dresser, and behind the passenger seat as my laundry hamper. Everything you need is included with the van. My only negatives, were that the Bluetooth connection never worked for me, so I purchased a phone holder so that I could have navigation, and I used my Bluetooth speaker for music/audiobooks/hands-free phone. Also, the van's sliding doors stick sometimes and can be difficult to open & close from the inside. I purchased some WD40 to try to help, but it didn't make much of a difference. Lastly, the remote button to open the trunk hatch doesn't work, and there isn't a way to open the hatch from the inside, so you have to use the slide doors often. Those are very nitpicky little things though. All in all, Joy had everything I needed for a month long solo adventure.

Very easy communication, great ride and loads of fun. First Camper Van experience and this was great. She had everything we needed in there. Van is in great shape and fun to drive. Great 3 night sleep!

I had such a wonderful time in the van! Easy to drive and had everything I needed. Patti was very lovely and easy to reach if I needed anything. My whole trip was so special!

Incredible experience. I’m hooked with off the grid travel. Pattie had a focus on providing the best possible experience. She provided prompt and insightful suggestions and help along the way. When I booked a comprehensive van manual was provided and Pattie walked me through the important points.

Pattie was wonderful! We were two tall adults and a 60lb pittie and we were cozy and comfortable! We took Joy the Van to Big Sur and Morro Bay and loved it! Pattie was super helpful and the van had everything we needed! We left a ton of things behind because she already had them! The van was really easy to drive and the bed was really comfortable to sleep in, even at during the cold evenings it was warm overnight. We would definitely do it again!

Her name is "JOY" and that's EXACTLY what she is; a JOY to drive, a JOY to park, dependable with great gas milage and in excellent working order. I wanted a Covid-safe vacation and chose my maiden voyage in a van and it was a perfect paring for me and my little dog. Pattie (the owner) was super helpful, patient and kind answering ALL of my questions. Her communication (cell, text, email) and availability was superb and her bright and positive personality made everything fun and easy. We spent 4 days/nights camping in Carmel Valley, walking through the Redwoods in Big Sur and had beautiful beach days at Asilomar Beach in Pacific Grove and Carmel Beach. JOY's little kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make a cup of tea or a hearty spaghetti dinner, there was ample storage and the solar panels made powering electronics a breeze. JOY is a perfect, compact and fun way to travel. I give her and Pattie both 5++++ stars and can't wait for my next adventure with JOY!
