Exploring the City

While peaceful Rockledge may be home to Space Coast RV Resort, it isn’t primarily known for being a sightseeing destination compared to other area cities like Cape Canaveral or Melbourne. The Brevard Zoo in Melbourne is a fantastic place to bring the family, with hundreds of exotic animals in beautiful enclosures designed to mimic their native environments. You can even kayak through the park, observing animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, and many more amazing creatures.The Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is a noteworthy feature in the area. The U.S Air Force Space & Missile Museum is a fascinating place to learn about the US Space Program, the formation of NASA, and the brilliant minds that helped develop the technology that would eventually get humanity to the moon and beyond.
