Space Coast RV Resort Campground

No matter where you decide to bring your RV rental in Florida, there are dozens of recreation areas, conservation lands, state parks, or beaches within close range. While you make Space Coast RV Resort your temporary home base, you can pick out a few local gems to visit for your dose of nature therapy. Saint Sebastian River State Park to the south is one of many state parks you can visit while you are in Florida, home to pine forests, wildflower-laden meadows, and waterways that have an abundance of fish. In addition to fishing, you can go hiking, horseback riding, biking, swimming, birdwatching, and camping too. Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park is a bit different, found farther inland and home to some different ecosystems than those closer to the ocean. Appropriately named, Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park does its best to protect the important prairie landscapes of Florida and the myriad of plant and animal species that call it home. Hiking, horseback riding, biking, and camping are welcome at this Florida gem. It might be halfway to Miami, but Jonathan Dickson State Park is one of the most beloved in all of Florida, and well worth the drive. Named for a Quaker man who survived a shipwreck off the coast centuries ago, Jonathan Dickinson State Park is a lush, seaside paradise where you can go biking along the coast, hiking, boating, fishing, or exploring. Campsites give you the option of staying overnight in your campervan rental. Just over the bridge north of Cape Canaveral, you can visit the breathtaking Canaveral National Seashore, one of the most unique places on the entire eastern seaboard. Twenty-five miles of undeveloped and uninterrupted beach dot this stretch of seashore, making it one of the longest undeveloped shorelines in Florida. You can witness space shuttle launches from this incredible nature park, surf, swim, build sandcastles, or get your tan on when you rent an RV near Space Coast RV Resort and head to this exciting seashore.
