Texas State Parks are great! Try Brazos Bend, Huntsville, Village Creek, Lake Livingston, Sea Rim, Galveston and Stephen F Austin State Parks, all within a 1-2 hour drive from pickup location.
Sam Houston National Forest has several camping spots to the north, such as Cagle and Double Lake Recreation Areas. Private Campgrounds like Splashway (Sheridan), El Campo Lost Lagoon and Jellystone (Waller), are always fun, plus the Hill Country's natural beauty is only a few hours west. Opportunities abound in this area!
Making Smores has been to Palo Duro Canyon SP, Copper Breaks SP, Lake Mineral Wells SP, Possum Kingdom SP, Huntsville SP, Brazos Bend SP, Lake Livingston SP, Garner SP and Camp Gulf, FL just to name a few. She can't wait to visit somewhere new!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Smores is available for pick up/drop off between the hours of 9am and 9pm daily, with at least 12 hours advance notice. Delivery is also available in those timeframes, w/in 100 miles of camper home.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric, Water and Sewer hookups are all located on the rear driver's side of the camper, behind the slide out. Electric supply plugs in to a 30amp breaker at campsite - Not recommended for household 120v, even with plug converter.
Water hose (included) connects to campground water spigot. Rental includes potable hoses, rv filter, splitter and sprayer attachment. *Fresh water tank has separate instructions.
Sewer hose included in rental, can be used at full hookup or dump stations.
