The generator choke switch wouldn't stay in the off position. I had to tape a rock against the switch to hold it in the off position because otherwise, the engine vibration would shake the choke switch on.

I do wish you had contacted us during your rental, as this is the first we are hearing of these things. I asked you at check out if you were happy with the camper and if I could touch anything up and you said you were really happy with the clean condition of the camper. The sink must be on the counter top to sit on the kill switch so that everything in the camper is functional. This completes the circuit. You simply needed to turn the thermostat to the off position to turn off the furnace. You did take a pop up, which is a drafty camper and, given the single digit temps you experienced, would not stay insulated or warm without the furnace on. I would have been happy to assist with all of these issues had you contacted us. I appreciate your feedback just the same.

We were surprised and a little concerned that the popup didn't have 4 support legs. We camped up in Wyoming and it was super windy and we felt only being supported by 3 points felt insecure. it would be great if you offered the wrachet bolt for renters to bring their own electric drill to more easily raise and lower the popup support legs would be nice. A different place we have rented from in the area(robert sales)provides that and it is handy. They also don't make renters refill the propane tanks and /or charge for the refill. They also don't charge a fee if you can't back up the popup into the exact spot on their lot.

The entire process from reservation, pick up and return was easy. Great website. Good communication. Would rent a camper again and recommend you to family and friends. We couldn’t get the refrigerator pilot light to work but may have been user error. Everything else was in top-notch shape.

We had a superb experience with CCR this past weekend, having rented a popup camper for our trip to the Black Hills. Pickup was easy and fast, and they made sure we knew how to set up and run the camper. The camper itself was excellent. Everything was in great condition and worked perfectly, and having the furnace and heated beds made my wife and kids soooo happy. The camper towed like a dream behind our Nissan Frontier. Return was also easy. Our schedules were such that we couldn't get to CCR on our return day. They gave us the gate code, and we were able to drop it off the night before after we cleaned the trailer. Overall, I would recommend renting from CCR to anyone interested in trying out a trailer camper. Fantastic!
