Easy to drive. Fully stocked. Unlimited miles. If this rig happens to be booked for your dates, don’t worry; Monster Max is one of three triplets. He has two brothers— Two more Boondocking Colorado rigs that are nearly identical and built for the same off-grid experience.Just grab whichever one is available so you don’t miss your trip:• Mighty Max — https://www.outdoorsy.com/rv-rental/loveland_co/2013_thor_majestic_418052-listing?preview=true• Mountain Max — https://www.outdoorsy.com/rv-rental/loveland_co/2020_thor_majestic_528838-listing?preview=trueIf you’re looking for a typical RV trip—hookups, crowded campgrounds, and rows of rigs parked 10 feet apart—you can absolutely do that with this rig.But you also have the freedom to go much further. This is built for people who want the real Colorado: dirt roads, remote trailheads, alpine lakes, and wide-open nights where the only thing you hear is the wind in the trees—Campground or off-grid—your call.Meet Monster Max—our most proven, most dialed, and most capable adventure rig. With a WeldTec lift kit, 35” all-terrain tires, upgraded Fox suspension, lithium power, and solar, this rig gives you the clearance, confidence, and off-grid capability to explore beyond where standard rentals stop. At the same time, it’s compact, easy to drive, and fits in a normal parking space, so you’re not dealing with the stress of a massive RV.Inside, you get a queen bed over the cab plus a rear dinette that converts into a second sleeping space. There’s a full wet bath with a shower and toilet, and a complete kitchen setup with a stove, microwave, fridge, cookware, utensils, and essentials already stocked, so you can actually enjoy your trip instead of packing your entire house. The off-grid system is what makes this whole experience work. With a large lithium battery system, solar, and a charging system, you’re not tied to hookups. Lights, fridge, charging your gear—all handled. This is the difference between a quick overnight and a real multi-day adventure. This rig is perfect for:
• Campgrounds (if that’s your style)
• Dispersed camping and national forest access
• Mountain biking and hiking trailheads
• Ski trips and winter basecamp setups
• Scenic drives and spontaneous pull-offsWHY This IS Different (Read This):Most RV rentals come with rules, chores, and friction that eat away at your trip.We built this to be the exact opposite—just like we built all of our Boondocking Colorado rigs to give you the freedom to go anywhere, whether that’s a campground or somewhere far beyond it.Here’s how this works:
• Unlimited mileage — no “100 miles per day” limits
• Pets welcome ($50) — bring your dog
• Pickup & drop-off on Your schedule — early morning or late night
• Return is simple — park it, leave the keys, you’re doneNow let’s talk about what everyone else makes you do…Dump tanks. Clean the entire RV. Refill propane. Stress about getting your deposit back. And somehow all of that happens on your last day—when you’re trying to make a flight. We don’t do that.• No dump runs required — no hoses, no mess, no dealing with sewage on your way to the airport
• No full clean-out requirement — don’t spend your last morning scrubbing an RV
• No propane refill stress — we’ve got it handled
• Fuel policy = simple — return it with a full tank of gas, that’s itYou actually get your last day of vacation back.Delivery Options (Super Flexible):We offer delivery within ~65 miles of Loveland, including Denver Airport (DIA).• $200 each way (delivery + pickup are separate)• Example:

Capable, easy to park, but noisy
Monster Max excels in off-grid situations with solar power and a 2-3 day battery. It is spacious, well-equipped, and handles snow well, though some guests note it is loud and jostling to drive.

5.0Monster Max is just that. He is easy to drive and has all the amenities you need. We drove through a whiteout near Purgatory ski resort and he never once slipped, sputtered, faltered. We took our twins camping for their 3rd birthday and they loved the adventure. Max made sure they were never cold and we had so much room to bring all their toys (camp chairs, bikes, fishing poles). The battery system on this guy runs everything you need all day and will last 2-3 days if you are parked. We drove for about 2 hours and the battery was full again. If I had to give a negative, it is noisy while driving. If you want a low maintenance, comfortable way to get off grid.....rent Monster Max. Thank you Dixon for giving us the opportunity to make memories for our boys!

4.0We loved the camper and were very cozy on a rainy weekend! There were a few things that we just weren't sure what to expect, with it being our first time ever renting an RV. But it was REALLY loud to drive it - the ceiling squeaked loudly (which we were warned about but made me nervous) and it was just very jostling around in general. So I didn't like the driving part. Once we were there it was great and it was truly wonderful to have a stove, heat, and bathroom while camping. A couple other minor things were that the listing said it had wifi and it didn't, and also the pictures showed a canopy being used but we were asked not to use it. It honestly would have been nice with the rain,, we could've still sat under the canopy in our camping chairs, but we didn't. I think if we rented this camper again I would be up for it, just knowing a few more things about it and would opt for a shorter drive. Oh also the gas gauge stopped working at some point and we informed the owner. He was super detailed in showing us everything before we left and we really appreciated that!
