Monster Max is just that. He is easy to drive and has all the amenities you need. We drove through a whiteout near Purgatory ski resort and he never once slipped, sputtered, faltered. We took our twins camping for their 3rd birthday and they loved the adventure. Max made sure they were never cold and we had so much room to bring all their toys (camp chairs, bikes, fishing poles). The battery system on this guy runs everything you need all day and will last 2-3 days if you are parked. We drove for about 2 hours and the battery was full again.

We loved the camper and were very cozy on a rainy weekend!
There were a few things that we just weren't sure what to expect, with it being our first time ever renting an RV. But it was REALLY loud to drive it - the ceiling squeaked loudly (which we were warned about but made me nervous) and it was just very jostling around in general. So I didn't like the driving part. Once we were there it was great and it was truly wonderful to have a stove, heat, and bathroom while camping.
A couple other minor things were that the listing said it had wifi and it didn't, and also the pictures showed a canopy being used but we were asked not to use it. It honestly would have been nice with the rain,, we could've still sat under the canopy in our camping chairs, but we didn't.
I think if we rented this camper again I would be up for it, just knowing a few more things about it and would opt for a shorter drive.
Oh also the gas gauge stopped working at some point and we informed the owner.
He was super detailed in showing us everything before we left and we really appreciated that!

It's an awesome vehicle...fun to be in, with great features, warm...and really safe to drive during heavy winter storms/ snowy road conditions. Dixon was an awesome host, too.....communicative and helpful.

Wow, what a great rig for the Colorado mountains. I spent a week in Monster Max in a mix of primitive BLM campsites and a full-service campground, and it was perfect for all of it. Easy to drive, spacious, and everything you need. There’s nothing like a hot shower and a cold beer after a long MTB ride, and this rig delivered. I’d gladly rent again!

Monster Max knows no bounds! Our family of four drove this rig to Truckee and back and were thoroughly impressed with all of its capabilities. From acceleration power on freeways to a microwave that worked off grid, Max provided everything we needed and more. It also came packed with essentials like bedding, kitchen gear, and comfy camp chairs. We couldn’t believe how spacious Max was and still fit in a standard parking spot.

We had a great trip to Montana to visit family in Monster Max! Slept 4 comfortably at Flaming Gorge and it was perfect to watch the 4th of July fireworks. The awning was a saver during the brief rain shower and we loved the smokeless fire pit that came with it. It was also an awesome quiet office for me. The host Brian is very nice, responsive and easy to communicate with. Amazing memories :)

Had a great experience with Dixon and Monster Max! Great communication and great amenities - has everything you'd want and probably more. Took the wife and 1-year-old on a National Parks tour in CO and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

We were happy with the whole experience. As campers, we wanted to explore the RV experience and we are happy we did. Brian was great - he was truly interested in us having a good vacation, he was quick to respond when we called. The Boondocker was great, we stayed in campgrounds both with and without hookups and both worked. We met the friendliest people who shared their RV experiences and knowledge with us!

From the moment we booked; Brian’s communication and level of service were top notch. He has stocked this awesome rig with everything we needed and then some. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this RV. It drives so easily and you can park it almost anywhere. We slept our family of four for nine nights in eight different campgrounds. Thanks Brian for helping us have an unforgettable trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks.

Our family of 3 swooped up Dixon’s beast for a 3 day Memorial Day excursion to Colorado Monument and the Fruita Desert for a boon-docking get-away. It drove nicely all the way from Golden and we loved the versatility of the camper. My son couldn’t get enough of the upper bunk and my wife and I enjoyed the space below. We all slept comfortably and cool. The solar power made it so we didn’t even need to propane powered generator secured to the back. We did use the heck out of the tail mounted propane grill and the kitchen/bathroom was key for comfort- not to mention the great extractable awning during the hot Western CO days. We used our own bike rack, but Dixon offered his if we needed it. The place was nicely stocked and we enjoyed the off-road-ability for rocky road trail and river access, and enjoyed the quiet and coolness of the rig way up in the National Park sun. We plan to take the Ford out again to Colorado country! Thank you for the memories and solid customer service.

This RV was perfect for our trip, 2 adults and 1 infant. Dixon has thought of everything needed for a wonderful experience! The customizations and additional amenities made all of the difference as we explored Colorado. It was very easy to drive and park. We had a blast and would recommend this rig!

Brian’s RV was perfect. Filled with all the things you need for a long stay. Very clean and cozy. I would’ve stayed longer if I had the time! Solid vehicle and well taken care of. Brian is a cool guy and is very responsive if you need anything during your trip.
