The popup camper completely fulfilled our needs for our outing to 11 Mile State Park. It had the features that made our outing enjoyable in spite of frequent high winds and a rain storm.

We have always rented from CCR. They are a great company to work with and will continue to do so!

I’d give 0 stars if I could. First, after I paid a deposit through outdoorsey, Colorado Camper Rentals charged my husband $1000 when he picked it up. Someone showed him how to set up the camper but failed to show him how filthy (like not even wiped down) the inside was. Once we got to our site and set up the camper, the water had debris in it- sticks, pine needles and parts of pine cones. I’m used to tent camping so, whatever, a little nature in my drinking water.. no biggie. We set up at night and didn’t see how gross the inside was. We had a long trip and crashed right away. Well, after an hour of 4 adults pushing and pulling on the bed that wouldn’t slide out… then we slept. When we woke up, I noticed how filthy everything was. The camper wasn’t even wiped or sprayed down! Hello, covid anyone? So, I started to clean everything and put our dishes, etc in the cabinets and drawers. There was a layer of dirt, animal hair and other unknown filth in every corner.. playing cards, random items from other campers.. I was thoroughly disgusted at this point. Then, I went to unzip the window to air it out and they were so dirty that I rolled each window cover outward (towards the window) because I was worried the dirt would fall onto our beds (which already had plumes of dust billowing out). Then, nothing flipping worked… everything had a “trick” to get it functioning properly. Next, we used the propane twice to boil water for coffee… that’s it… we left the nearly full propane tank in place and were charged (this is after driving to every location they printed for us to fill up the propane). Our drop off time was 6pm (they close at 4pm). We were an hour late and they had the nerve to charge us a late fee for not being there, when NOBODY was there! I got a very lame excuse about how they need the time to prepare the camper for the next renters but nobody was even around to prepare it. I’m not sure how they prepare it anyway since clearly nobody prepared it for us. After calling and emailing for a week to complain and request half (not even all) of my money back, Jessica had the nerve to tell me I was being charged for the dirty camper, a late fee and a tank of propane.. furthermore, they held onto $2000 of deposit money for 8 days. I’m easy going, but I cannot stand half ass business. I’m filing in small claims court for my hard earned (hospice nurse!) money. I’m also reporting to the state health department for not cleaning between renters and the BBB because they do horrible business. They could have very easily made this a better experience. Oh, almost forgot, my 10 year old son was helping us break down the camper and he mistakenly unsnapped the canvas from the shell in 2 spots. We never snapped it back and were CHARGED for the canvas being separated from the camper. So, I recommend tent camping for free and you’ll have a cleaner experience with fresh drinking water.

Your review is not at all factual. Campers are disinfected with alcohol and detailed between every rental. Your husband was here for an hour at pick up and SIGNED the rental agreement stating it was clean. Our staff went through the rental agreement noting anything dissatisfactory and your husband said nothing. We would have been happy to address anything on the unit that needed attention, but he said nothing. We held only the $1,000 deposit for the duration of the rental, not $2,000, as you claim. You waited until 30 minutes after you were supposed to return to contact us, miffed about how to return when we explained the process at pick up. There was no apology, only anger that we were not open, even though you were aware we would be closed. We reached out to you within the allotted return window to contact us because there were charges we wanted to discuss and you waited until after closing to reach back out. You threatened the business demanding your money back and half of your rental. We DID NOT charge you for cleaning required on the unit, nor your empty propane tank. We charged you a late fee and for the repair time spent because the canvas was ripped from the roof BY THE SCREWS, not snaps. You were not the renter, never contacted us, and said nothing until you returned the camper. You take no responsibility for your actions or lack of communication. Your review is false, disrespectful, and shameful.

A great experience and company to work with! Connie was exceptional! We will be renting again. We have owned numerous trailers and motor homes and know that there are constant little repairs required after almost every outing. Its nice when someone else takes care of this!

Best unit I have rented in 20 years. Clean, well maintained. The staff is impeccable. Their help both at checkout and check in was fantastic. Highly recommend.

We will not rent the flagstaff again. Fridge worked only half the time at a full hook up KOA. It seemed as if we were sleeping on the ground with those mattresses that we had double up for comfort. I wish we would have known about that ahead of time. In the future we will probably rent a full size camper so we don’t get that experience again. I mean it seamed as if we were in a tent the entire time. Bad choice on my part.

Very helpful, very thorough training of how to set up and take down the pop-up so we did not even need the written instructions at our campsite. Our equipment worked very well and we loved our trip. Would definitely rent from here again.

The whole process, both check-out and check-in, went smoothly. Shayne did a tremendous job showing us how to set up and take down the pop-up, very thorough.

We had a thorough check-out experience with Ethan who took excellent care of us, was personable, and warm. The camper was fantastic and the check-in experience at the conclusion of our trip was fantastic.

Process was very good. A little difficult to find your location. Some better signage at the entrance of the office complex would be beneficial.

Great people and great equipment. It's good to know the camper we rent is new or 1-2 years old. I'll be coming back year after year, they have a customer for life or until we end up buying our own. Thanks Colorado Camper, see you next year.
