The Camper Connection is extremely shady and I highly recommend you stay far far away.
Everything you need to know about The Camper Connection is right here in this link.  https://www.thecamperconnection.com/contract
The thing that Outdoorsy and The Camper Connection don't tell you once you pay 100% of your rental and plan an entire family trip is that The Camper Connection requires you to sign a totally separate 7 page contract that supersedes any Outdoorsy agreement. This contract is far more in favor of the RV owner and removes ALL rights of the renter. Outdoory's official response is to sign at my own risk but I would no longer be covered by any protections given by booking through the outdoorsy website.
Some of my favorite snippets of the contract are below
"We strongly recommend you DO NOT use the awning at all"
"PROCESSING FEE: A fee of 10% will be added to all misc charges such as mileage fee, generator usage fee, damage fee, late return fee, etc to cover time and credit card processing fee’s." After renting a pet friendly unit this showed up in the contract
"If evidence of pets on site or evidence of smoking inside the Rental is found, MCR reserves the right to charge up to $750"
"The A/C, heat, awning, radio, microwave, television, jacks, plumbing, etc. are convenience items. If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, no compensation will be made to you"
"I understand that if towing or renting a driveable RV that any tire damage during a rental is my responsibility. I understand that i may be charged any overlooked fees for mileage, generator usage, etc up to 12 months after the rental end date."
"CANCELLATION POLICY: No refund of money collected up to 30 days before rental, no refund within 30 days of rental. Additionally, no refunds will be given for cancellations of reservations during a holiday and event weeks"
"The awning be unrolled or used without prior approval."
This following statement is in direct contradiction of Outdoorsy.com agreement
"Maintenance and Breakdown Renter is responsible for checking all fluid levels, including oil and coolant levels at each refueling. Renter is responsible for checking air tire pressure, lug nuts and wheels at each refueling. Renter is responsible for mechanical damages due to negligence in operation and/or maintenance. OWNER OF THE RENTAL DOES NOT WARRANT AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES ON THE RENTAL INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE RENTAL OR TIRE CONDITION, SUITABILITY, OR FITNESS OF THE RENTAL OR TIRES FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE."
