2017 Teardrop Popular Mechanics - Big Woody
So an adventure was put upon us to build a Teardrop Camper in one month. Well, It took two months to create this fun-loving 4x8 custom build for ourselves. Based on the 1950s Popular Mechanics Plans and Big Woody, we created our camper to share. All lights and USB stations are 12v solar charged deep cycle batteries. The CR1 includes A/C and Heat that runs on shore power. The CR1 includes a gas portable grill/stovetop; an all in one coffee maker, griddle, and toaster/oven with side table. The roof vent with fan and side 1970 windows give a great cross breeze to go completely off-grid. The galley has a sink with faucet that pulls from 1gal jug. The sleeping quarters has a full mattress and the cabin is 4ft x 6.5ft long. It was specially built as I am 6ft1. We ask that you bring your own linens and pillows. Hello I am CampingRandy and we love to camp. We started Tent Camping a long time ago then built our first Tear Drop Camper, that we actually rented on Outdoorsy back in 2015 for a couple of years. What an amazing experience. We then picked-up a 1983 Coachman Travel Trailer, restored it and camped in it for a couple years before selling. We then purchase a huge 2005 camper, restored it and sold that. After that i was told "No More Fixer Uppers", so our goal is to have three new campers that we rent out to folks. Currently we have the 2022 199Rk Camper and the 2019 Honda Ridgeline Overlander available for camping. Our goals are to introduce new campers to the fun we enjoy out in the mountains are at the beach! Let me know if you have any questions, as I am here to help!
