Welcome to the Janet the JayFeather, our family's much loved 18ft travel trailer!Janet the JayFeather has been at the heart of so many of our family's adventures - and now we are really excited to share her with you! At only 3500lb, she is light and manoeuvrable enough to be pulled by a large SUV, yet packed full of everything you need for a memorable getaway.Cook up meals just like at home in her fully appointed kitchen, with a 4-burner gas stove and oven, microwave and fridge/freezer.Wash off the day with a full shower in the compact and well-designed bathroom and sing along to your favourite tunes from your phone with the music centre and its aux-in feature.Turn on the air-con to create a cool oasis from the midday sun, or pump up the heat if you get chilly in the evenings.And when you lay down at the end of the day to sleep on one of Janet the JayFeather's comfortable queen mattresses, know that you can quickly unzip the canvas and sleep under the stars from the comfort of a real bed (protected by the bug screen, of course - no mozzie bites here!). We are just a couple of hours from provincial parks along Lake Huron, Georgian Bay, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and only three hours for Algonquin park. Janet the JayFeather's home base is so centrally located that you are truly spoilt for choice for camping sites and locations. Other things to noteWhen you rent Janet the JayFeather, you'll receive a FREE, 30 minute virtual walk-through ahead of your trip so you can get familiar with the trailer and ask us any questions. This is a great chance to virtually explore the trailer and start getting excited for your adventure!Please note that the JayFeather is 3,500lbs so while she is light, make sure your vehicle has the towing capacity required to pull her safely, a 7-pin harness and 2" hitch (you will need your own brake controller). Before we confirm you booking, we will make sure you have the right vehicle and equipment.We ensure that Janet is in pristine condition when you receive her and we expect her to be returned back to us clean. If this is not the case, you will be charged an additional $150 cleaning fee taken from your security deposit.The tanks are delivered to you clean and empty. Unless you have pre-purchased the septic pre-payment, you are responsible for ensuring the tanks are returned to us clean and empty. If this is not the case, you will be charged an additional $80 dumping fee.You are responsible for any damage to the awning during your trip (and they cost a LOT to replace). Do not attach anything to the awning legs or arms (particularly not a leashed dog!) and do not force any of the mechanisms. If you have any questions or cannot operate the awning safely while on your trip, reach out to us and we will guide you through the process.

My wife, Sonia, our two girls - Dayle and Mila - and I love the flexibility of getting out for a few days to discover Ontario's beautiful lakes and landscapes. We have had this trailer for 9 years and she has served us really well - and been well maintained and cared for. We are delighted to be able to share our JayFeather with other families and couples so they can get out on the open road and experience the sense of adventure that you only get when you travel with everything you need pulled right behind you!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

You let us know - we can pick up and drop off the RV within all reasonable distances!
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

Hook-ups are really simple! When you pick up JayFeather then we'll show you where all the attachments are, including extra-length cords and hoses for water and electric so you don't have to worry about getting connected!
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

Absolutely - and when you reserve we will set up a free 30 minute virtual walk-through that will ensure you get the most out of your trip! Of course, you'll also have a full training session when you pick up the unit.
