Would recommend North Shore Vans to anyone looking to camp around Maui. Jason and Emily are super nice and the van was great - clean and well taken care of. Got to chat with them when picking up the van and they had great recommendations of places to go and things to do around the island.

Emily & her husband were so warm and helpful throughout our trip! The camper van was super comfortable - we slept well every night. Goldie was a reliable vehicle, and we had a great time exploring the island.
They provided us with towels and a guide/map for the best spots on the island.
The cooking items and cooler were pretty basic but did the job!

We had a great couple days in Maui with Goldie. We stayed at a couple campgrounds in Maui and also drove it on the road to Hana. Happy to say that it handled very well on the road. Van also had everything that was listed and had a lot of space for luggage. Jason gave a good breakdown of things to know before we hit the road, and gave us some local recommendations for good eats as well. From beaches to campgrounds, this worked out perfectly for exploring the island.

We rented Goldie for five nights. What a great trip! We enjoyed the ease of being able to travel all around the island and not have to return to a hotel. It was a great way to see all of Maui in a short amount of time! Chris and Naro were very responsive and available for questions and support. There was plenty of storage in the van, and the bed was super comfortable. The road to Hana was a little bit of a challenge, but my husband had fun driving it. We definitely recommend camping at the Kipahulu district of Haleakala National Park. That was our favorite camping spot. If you like camping but don't want to deal with the hassle, this is definitely the way to go!

What a wonderful time we had with Goldie. The fan worked great! And driving the van around was easy and fun. Chris and Chris are a great team and made our van rental super easy and fun.

Chris was very accommodating and the van was exactly as described and met our expectations. This was a great opportunity to explore the entire island of Maui.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! If you want to see all of Maui and more, this is the company to go with. Chris was so easy to arrange with while we were still in Canada, and once arrived he even picked us up from our condo, and dropped us off at the airport at the end, everything was a breeze! He took all the stress out of booking our Maui camper van honeymoon. Chris runs the company so well and the vans are AMAZING!!! It was very well kept, clean, and so reliable. We got lots of looks, people LOVED the van and always wanted to see inside.
If we ran into any issues, even without reception, Chris drives out immediately to help get you back on track. This is a huge bonus as there are areas you won't have any cell reception, and if something were to happen you would be in quite a situation! At the end my Husband said "I wish we hung out with Chris during the trip, such a rad dude" and I couldn't agree more. We will most definitely be back to share our adventures with Goldie in the near future. Thanks North Shore Vans!!

First off. Chris has created a very cool business out of his own experiences. He’s such a rad dude that made us feel so welcome and comfortable renting from him. The process was easy, he was easy to communicate with. And he set us up to have the most memorable honeymoon on Maui ever.

Goldie was absolutely amazing during my time in Maui - drives like a dream and super cozy inside. Chris was super easy-going and very helpful in offering recommendations of where to go around the island. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a Maui experience outside of the norm.
