I’d like to start this review by saying that I had the best days of my life with Baby Beluga.
The van has absolutely everything we need. It’s really practical and cozy.
I felt pretty safe while driving as well.
It was so nice to have these days, driving through amazing places, hiking in National Parks, and at the end going back to the campground where I could cook, watch the sunset, drink a beer and watch a movie on my laptop. Baby beluga made me feel like I was at home.
In addition, these guys (France, Angela and John) are always so sweet and gentle. I thought it was really good that they have some videos to show everyone about the van before setting off on this adventure. Watching the videos and taking the quiz made me feel more comfortable to drive around.
Also, I had the opportunity to have a few more days off, so I extended my time with the van. At first, the website would not let me change the days but they helped me resolve this issue pretty quickly.
Thank you so much for all Vegas Campers team. I love my trip with Baby Beluga and was happy to show her some great places.
My Brazilian friends were freaking out about this epic 10 days journey!!!!

My wife and I had an absolute blast! We spent five days in this camper van and I can honestly say we didn’t want the trip to end. This camper has everything you need to be comfortable while still being small enough for most parking lots.

Anything and everything that one would need for camping was included in the van. Even items that we would never have thought we would need. Driving the van was easy, and smooth. Customer service and instant access to a real person was outstanding!! Cannot wait to book another adventure with them!

The van was well equipped and was clean and as advertised. John did a great job of covering all questions beforehand with videos. The bed was a little small for the two of us. My partner is a big guy!

Owner was great. But...
You won't be able to go places other than the touristy places on paved roads like the big national parks. We learned most trailheads with car lots to slot canyons and gulches are dirt roads which you are forbidden to drive on. Mind you, we weren't planning to go crazy off-roading or 4-wheeling in remote areas; we were simply planning to park at trailhead lots and hike. Not the van to rent if you plan on accessing trails to slot canyons which happened to be our planned trip. We even lost money on a campsite we had to cancel because it was more than 1/4 mile (1 mile actually) of dirt road to access. Probably best for tourists, but not hikers trying to explore less traveled areas like Grand Staircase-Escalante or some of the other wilderness areas. You'll have to rent ATVs or 4-wheel drive vehicles just to get to the designated cars lots at trailheads. We returned it early and cut our trip short because we couldn't get to five of the trailhead parking lots to explore where we had planned over the week. For those reasons I would not recommend this vehicle. It would work fine for the normal, crowded, paved-access National Parks though. It is clean, well stocked, and well-maintained.

Hey Keely and anyone reading, our policy about dirt roads is clearly states before booking and 4 times prior to departure: we DO allow short drives to campgrounds at under 10mph. Other than that, driving on dirt roads voids your insurance policy, cancels your roadside assistance, and will result in the loss of your security deposit. We reminded Keely of this before booking, in multiple email reminders, in the training videos, and every renter agrees to this in our short safety quiz. There are literally thousands of magical places you can travel to with my vans. That includes all National Parks and campgrounds that are within a short drive from paved roads. However, desert dirt roads are notorious for potholes and washboards that destroy the undercarriage of low clearance vehicles like these and sharp plants that scratch the paint. Thousands of dollars of damage have been done to my vans in the past and it takes a huge effort to repair them. Because of that, it's true that anyone wishing to drive long distances on dirt roads should rent another vehicle. However, this should not reflect on us nor the service we offer any more than you'd give an ATV rental company 2 stars because their rigs didn't drive as fast as you wanted them to on the highway.

The van was great for our trip! Perfect size for two, and easy to maneuver and drive! We flew in to Las Vegas, and really appreciated that VegasCampers thought of everything we would need for our trip- they included all the cooking supplies, linens/ towels, and camping equipment we needed. I also brought my personal tent in checked luggage, which was nice for hotter nights.

Renting the camper van was an amazing experience. With the fully stocked van from Outdoorsy we were able to visit a number of National Parks on our trip, and the owner John went out of his way to ensure that our adventure would be a smooth one.

He had such a great time with this camper van! It has everything you need for some time outdoor! We got it in Vegas and drove to Grand Canyon with no issues. John was super helpful and responsive, sent all the instructions for everything and answered quickly to all our questions. Highly recommend it!

The Baby Beluga was perfect for out week-long road trip of Southern Utah! We loved having everything we needed for early morning National Park exploration and late night campfires. John was a great host and was easy and quick to communicate. We are already planning our next VAN-venture!

This was the perfect experience for a first time camper van couple. John was helpful and answered my questions at all hours of the day. The van runs like new and drives like any minivan. It was fun bringing it to a new campsite everyday, and hitting trailheads super early. If you are lucky enough to rent this van, enjoy it!

We had an incredible time exploring the National Parks in Baby Beluga!!! John was so accommodating and his videos made it easy to feel confident using all the exciting amenities. The van is the perfect size to camp in tent campgrounds without generators. Everyone wanted a peak at this sweet rig because it really is a marvel!
I removed one star from cleanliness because many of the bowls and silverware were not clean, but I imagine that is no fault of John's. If you make a grocery run before your trip, maybe just grab an extra sponge if you're a clean weirdo like me. The van itself was spotless. I felt totally comfortable sleeping in the van and it was so easy to convert from couch to bed.
John was easy to reach when we had questions. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Baby Beluga to any fun seeking adventurer out there!

Had a great trip along Southern Utah in the van. Was a great experience and John had the van fully stocked with all the things I needed. I was worried because I forgot some items, which he ended up having for me. John was great at communicating with me before, during and dropping off the van. And boy was that gas mileage amazing. Had many people along the way asking all about the van!

We can not recommend John and Baby Beluga enough! Small enough to get around easily, but large enough to comfortably sleep 2. Lots of little touches to make it more cozy, efficient, and comfortable! I’d rent this for every trip if I could!

John was so kind, communicative and just wonderful to work with! He made everything so easy, from pick up to drop off. The van was decked out with everything we needed, from flashlights to sleeping bags. Oh, and the gas milage was AMAZING. I would give John and the van both a 200 out of 10!

I can’t say enough great things about Baby Beluga! It was exactly as described in the listing, and then some. Easy to drive, new and clean, cozy as heck, stocked with just about everything you could think of (including wet wipes, paper towels, lighter, a variety of knives, carabiners, a leatherman, flashlights, tea, coffee and an aeropress), has functional lights as well as cool mood lighting...I could go on! It gets amazing gas mileage too.
