Hello fellow voyager, meet our Matey! We bought our camper in like-new condition with the plans to go full-time RV'ing in the future. We didn't like the standard dark RV interior, so we spent a few months renovating, transforming, and remodeling Matey, and we think she turned out gorgeous with a feel-like-home appearance. We've given her new paint all over, laid new vinyl plank flooring, replaced all lights with LED lights, made curtains and cushions, installed roller shades on the windows, installed a new clear skylight, added tiles to the kitchen and the shower, updated all countertops and dinette tabletop, and built custom furniture with underneath storage. We removed the bottom bunk bed from the bunkhouse to open up space and turn it into a pirate-themed kids' room. (NEW) In September 2020, we installed a new 24" TV with Roku Streaming Service and a soundbar above the dinette and LED awning/porch lights. *Note: Outdoorsy has a system glitch and does not display the correct dry weight. Matey weighs 5,600 lbs dry.
The A/C works perfectly, fridge and freezer work with propane or electricity, no issues. The 6 Gal water heater works with propane and/or electricity. Matey sleeps 4 people, two in the main bedroom, on a new queen size mattress, one in the bunkbed (up to 140 lbs), and the dinette can transform into another full-size bed within minutes. The stove works with propane gas, and both 30 lbs tanks will be full when you pick it up. Our travel trailer has lots of storage cabinets and storage underneath the sofas and the queen size bed for clothing, games, toys, and dry food items. All windows and the door have insect screens installed. Matey also has an electric hitch jack stand, 4 manual scissor-style stabilizers, and a new deep cycle battery. For shade, you can pull out the manual awning within minutes to enjoy the summer days and turn on the radio (equipped with outdoor speakers as well).
It's time to make awesome memories! Happy Camping,
Daniel and Nicole
