Meet your host, Elaine

Member since 2020

We are Christians, retired, living in central Florida. I am a reti;red FORTUNE 100 exec (20 years), then a college professor ( 27 years,am Professor emeritus. My wife is a retired entrepreneur, 31 years in residential and commercial real estate appraisingh in NH, MA and ME. Our relatives are all up north in Geneseo, NY, Bradford MA and Bartlett, NH. We have six adult children, 14 grandchildren and one great grandson. We enjoy RV camping and in addition to traveling up north for about a month and a half each summer (prior to the pandemic), we usually take one or two long trips each year. Last year we went to New Orleans, and San Antonio over the Christmas/New Years holidays. Originally we thought we'd be traveling around the southeastern U S but have found there i;s so much to do in Florida that in five years we have only been on two extended trips except for the summer jaunt to see family. We like visiting Mount Dora, St Augustine and Daytona Beach in addition to a lot of Florida State Park RV camping.

Larry was very thorough in showing us the ins and outs of his class B-RV. The RV was the perfect size for 2 people. I'm 6 feet tall and was able to stand up without bumping my head. The RV got surprising good gas mileage. I was a le to get nearly 15 mpg on the highway. I highly recommend both Larry and his class B-RV.

Larry and his wife did a complete and thorough job orienting us to the camper. It is clean and well-kept with many extras added to make your experience much better. Although the van is older it feels much newer and rides like a dream. It is comfortable to sleep in and we had no issues with anything not working well. Larry is reachable once the trip begins so you can ask questions and run things by him. Overall it was a fantastic and memorable experience pier
