Renting from Wilson is an above-and-beyond experience. He communicated with me months ago before our trip, and he has been an amazing person in communications to answer our questions and inform us various tips in regards of traveling, grocery shopping, camp sites, etc. He even assisted with driving practice before we hit the road. He maintained Big Bertha so well. We enjoyed all amenities he puts inside the van. I definitely highly recommend renting from him.

Big Bertha was a great experience. Worked as an extra bedroom for my family reunion, respite from the activities, and activity base for my nephews. Great time, great host and overall satisfied with the value .

The van served it's purpose well . I slept comfortably plenty of power. Projector,fans , lighting, shower, internet,fridge.. all the comforts of home but mobile.best value for the experience!

I was an absolutely fantastic trip! It’s so romantic to sleep with the sounds of ocean. Will is a kind and friendly host. He gives us useful guide with his own recommendations about food, place for visiting and camping. It helps us to plan our trip. Big Berta was comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend renting this van from Wilson. Wilson is very friendly front the start, easy to reach out to if we had any questions, answered questions ASAP, and very relaxed. At first I wasn’t confident about driving the van since it was my first time driving a van but Wilson made me feel comfortable driving it before our trip.

Wil was an amazing host and we loved his van, Big Bertha! It's so cute inside and he has really put time into adding little touches and amenities. Perfect way to explore Oahu, and we woke up to beautiful sunrises every morning!

Big Bertha was a perfect campervan for us, with a useful fridge and beautiful interior lights. All the utilities in the van were in great condition and very convenient, and the roof deck was the perfect place to watch the sunset and stargaze. Wilson was very helpful, accommodating, chill and easy to communicate with! My partner and I had the most amazing time campervanning around Hawaii and would highly recommend this rental!

Loved having the van. The fridge works well, the roof deck is sunset ready. The awning was just installed and is a perfect addition. My only complaint is that my partner and I are too tall to fit comfortably in the bed, so we squished in diagonally and made it work. But that's not the van's fault.
Wilson was so nice and chill and pretty fun guy to talk to! He communicated really well and responded fast to all of my questions. I would definitely rent from him again.

My partner and I had the best experience in Wilson's campervan exploring Hawaii. We were on a tight budget as we were returning from a year long stay in Australia and on our way back home to Canada. His van had everything we needed and Wilson was extremely accommodating. He was very quick to respond to our messages and gave us great tips for traveling the island. This was our first stay in Hawaii, and this exceeded our expectations! We will definitely rent from Wilson again. We highly recommend this rental!

Driving Big Bertha around the island was a dream! The van was easy to drive around and the inside was very comfortable. We felt at home instantly. All the amenities listed are provided and work well. Big Bertha made our first visit to Oahu so much more memorable!

Cannot express enough how easy it was to work with Will and what a great experience we had with Bertha. This was a last minute trip for us and our first time using Outdoorsy and couldn’t have been more pleased with it. Will came in clutch with recommendations for camping spots, food, beaches and more. 10/10 would recc to a friend (and will certainly be returning for a repeat trip).

This was my first time driving a van and living in a van! I’m so thankful that I got to do it in Hawai’i and that Wilson trusted me to rent out Big Bertha. I could tell he really cared about his van as well, which is a good sign for maintenance. My favorite part was being able to park the van by the beach, surf and come back to a bed. Or just being able to drive the bed to the beachfront and chill, or that I could just crack open the back doors to watch the sunrise over the mountains. I knew that parking the van might be tricky in HI and on my first night I got a parking ticket by Diamond head. No knock, just woke up to a ticket. Parking and sleeping in the north shore is much better. Would definitely recommend Big Bertha and Wilson for a van trip!

The van worked perfectly and provided a safe cozy place to stay for our adventures around Oahu. Bed was snug but comfortable for myself and my bf ( 5'9" & 6'). Shower was warmer than the beach showers and easy to use. Rooftop stargazing is a MUST! Wilson was flexible with drop-off and pick-up making our travel days less stressful. We added on the surf board and polaroid camera too which made our trip even better. Would definitely rent Wilson's van again!

Wilson went above and beyond to make sure we made the most out of our trip, he was incredibly helpful with ideas and spots.
Sure big Bertha is pretty rough round the edges but what she lacks in aesthetics she makes up for in grunt, she'll go anywhere. There's no wifi as advertised but this only adds to the charm of keeping you tuned out and dropped into the true oahu experience of street food, barefoot wave junkies and bumpin atmosphere.
She's a thirsty rig but as you can imagine she monstered up any hill and cruised beautifully along the coastal highways.
I felt safe sleeping in the back and there's an actual safe for peace of mind. The fridge was perfect for an ice cold beer after doing not much at all all day.
All in all wouldn't change the experience for exactly what it was. Thankyou Wilson, you legend.

Rain water was pouring in from the sides on both driver and passenger side. There were wires hanging in the van everywhere. Felt like a safety issue especially when it was raining.

my friends and I took big bertha out, and had the most amazing time. it has everything a camper should have & more. (rooftop deck, mini fridge, rotating seats, full bed, solar panels, built in wifi, custom windows, even a shower that we found very useful for cleaning sand off ourselves and our gear!) Wilson is always so communicative and provided a list of recommendations for places to go and locations to camp the van. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun experience, it is very spacious for you and your friends and will leave you with memories you'll never forget.

Big Bertha is the perfect van for traveling around the island. It has everything you need to enjoy your trip. The fridge keeps beverages, food etc. cold via solar power which is great. It has an outdoor shower which is perfect for rinsing off sand and saltwater after hanging out on the beach. The bed is comfy. I will say, being 6ft 2in myself, it is just barely long enough. If you are taller than me it might be a bit tight. Other than that though it is great. The rooftop deck is what really sold us. Getting to chill on top of the van, stargazing, is absolutely epic. Not only is the van great, but Wilson is an awesome dude. He hooked us up with a ton of amazing recommendations. You basically get a fantastic tour guide as part of the package when you book this van. Highly recommend all around, 5 stars, no complaints.

This week my friend and I rented Big Bertha for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! The van exceeded our expectations; it ran smoothly, the bed was shockingly comfortable, and accommodations like the safe (which was big enough for our computers and camera) gave us an extra sense on security. The owner, Wilson, made pickup and drop-off easy and also helped by giving us pointers and tons of ideas of good places to park it and sight seeing tips. We started in Waikiki then took the scenic route (thru Kalanianaole Hwy) to explore the east side of the island and then later drove around the north shore. One of my favorite highlights of renting Big Bertha was taking advantage of the roof and staring at the stars at Mokuleia beach, truly breathtaking views. The next morning we got coffee and breakfast at Wicked HI cafe and then walked around Haleiwa to do a little shopping. We even saw a few turtles sunbathing at Pua'ena Point Beach Park!! On the way back we stopped at the Byodo-In Temple (pictured) and then the Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden, again, both extremely beautiful and open places to go and enjoy incredible scenery. Not sure what we would've done without his recommendations, I know it would've been beautiful regardless, but his suggestions certainly made it easier to squeeze in as much as possible into such a short period of time. I wish we could've kept it longer and I will certainly be daydreaming about waking up to such beautiful views of the van parked right by the beach for a while. I'd highly recommend renting Big Bertha if you have the chance, I'm so thankful that we did!

We had an amazing time with Big Bertha. Only had her for 1 night and we camped on the beach right by the sea in the north shore. Will showed us the best spots to go and the van itself was super cool. Fully recommend:)
