Recommendations
Bellows Field Beach Park is amazing, located on the windward side of the island you get pristine beaches with amazing weather. I've been here year-round and have never been hot (it's pretty wonderful).
Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens, an absolute beauty and an adventure you can only experience here. The campground is in the rainforests and has many treasures to explore within the beautiful mountains and the stunning flora and fauna. There is no van camping on this site, if you wish to stay here we are happy to provide a tent.
Malaekahana Park at Kahuku is like no other. This beach's great for those wanting to surf as this side of the island has more waves. This is the ideal spot to park the van and just enjoy the beauty of life. Like the other two mentioned, the breeze here makes it so that the weather is much cooler.
With so many peaceful and beautiful camping sites on the island is hard to choose which is better, whichever one you choose will have its charm and beauty.
Other things to note
Please respect the island, the culture, and all the wonders that it has to show you. On that note, please remember to use biodegradable sunscreen while in the ocean to avoid damaging the reefs you’re here to see. **Remember we provide the van and gear for your camping adventure. You are responsible for reserving a place to park and enjoy the island.
