This was my first experience using Outdoorsy, and it was such a positive one! Toma made sure I felt comfortable with the vehicle (my first time driving a large campervan), and even came to meet me and drop off the snorkel equipment when we realized it was not in the van. She was available for any questions along the way and very easy to get in touch with. The actual campervan was perfect for me- spacious, and all the amenities to make my 3-day trip enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Renters are very prompt with any questions/suggestions AND super friendly. Pickup and drop off were a breeze.
Our experience was absolutely wonderful and so many memories were made-falling asleep to the sound of the ocean after watching the sunsets and waking up to the moon sets were our favorite part of the trip.

Wonderful adventure home on wheels for our mountain biking and snorkeling adventures. Bikes fit perfectly under the bed, which was very comfortable. Van was easy to drive, very clean and came with water, towels & linens provided. Our host was very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I loved the experience! Having a Campervan allowed me the freedom I was looking for. The van drove GREAT! The owners were very helpful and available as I’m not used to large vehicles but they were patient. Just a reminder: don’t forget when you’re going places, this van is tall, very tall. That’s why it’s great because you can stand up in it! Just don’t make the mistake of forgetting that when you’re parking. I’ve seen in other reviews that it’s hot at night, but if you keep the fan on, the temperature is comfortable. Enjoy your trip!

Had a great time using the van to accomplish all our goals of having a place to sleep and a means of transportation! The residential roads to get to the pickup/drop off can be a little narrow if getting there when people are home from work and parked on the sides of the road but the van itself was great when driving on the highways and around the island. Everything we needed worked without any issues. Gabe was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. Will be looking to book with them again on any future trips to Oahu!

We had a great time, the van was well equipped for our adventures on the north shore. Renter was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend as a way to see the island.

Great option for sleep/travel but it gets very hot overnight. So if you’re used to sleeping in a cold room, this will be an adjustment!!! Things to consider: if you plan on doing any downtown things in Waikiki area it can be very difficult finding a parking spot as this van will not fit in MOST parking garages. Have a plan for overnight stay on a campground. Public bathrooms/showers are locked overnight and it is hard to find any gas station that has public restrooms. All in all the van served us great and we got to see a lot of the island during our week long stay. The hosts were great in communicating with us about changes in our plans.

Had a great 2 nights in the van. No surprises when picking up or dropping off. Definitely got warm on the east side of the island because of the humidity so be prepared for that when trying to sleep. This was our first time trying a campervan stay and we enjoyed it!

All went smoothly and would highly recommend! Just keep in mind that the van has no windows in the back so it can get hot inside if you don’t leave a door open.

Gabe and Toma were friendly hosts and helpful when we had questions. Overall, we had an awesome time in their van around Oahu. I would suggest asking them specifically if you care about certain amenities on their listing. We found some minor ones missing, but they were responsive when we asked about them. They were minor but could impact your trip if you planned to have them! Looking forward to returning to Oahu.

It was great! We had a lot of fun and we loved the van!
I would definitely do it again. It was perfect cleaned and well maintained. No issues to drive, the car is big but driving it feels soft and smooth.

Van was great! Nice having the extra roof space for moving around. It was very rainy our entire stay, so it was SO great having the van to retreat to. Was super spacious and had all the things we needed for our trip. We hope to come back again and hope we can rent from Happy Hawaii again!

We had such a great time in this camper van! We loved the sink, lights, and fans which kept us comfortable at night and were very convenient throughout our trip. We drove the van all over the island, and it has a great turning radius and drives just like car. Bath towels and beach towels were provided which was also very helpful. The center console locks which makes it easier to leave valuables out of sight. The owner is easily accessible with questions and concerns and is willing to meet up with you to fix any hiccups. I would love to rent this van again!
