We wanted to explore Oahu and camp. This Jeep rental provided our family a great way to combine exploring, camping and making new memories. We had a blast sleeping in the pop-up tent and the items provided saved us a lot in packing. We were very grateful for this experience and the genuine kindness of our host. We would recommend this to anyone!

The Jeep was awesome, for us it was the perfect way to explore Oahu. The rooftop tent was super easy to put up and down. There were a couple items missing from the list (french press?) but honestly it had everything included that we needed. Luis was great too, was really helpful and easy to deal with.

What an experience overall.
Great truck to drive and it was complete set of gear.
Only 2 things can be done better.
-more instruction about the vehicle on the spot. And also some more atoom about the permit you need almost everywhere.
-there some cockroachs in the car i didnt like at all.

Lots of missing and broken items. Dirty dishes and empty fuel tank. Owner did provide a discount but it was still disappointing on day 1. Overall, a cool rig if he repairs things and provides all the advertised items.

The vehicle is new, and in superb condition. It’s outfitted really well - the description was precise . We found it to be a great way to travel around Oahu to see its many riches (don’t forget to reserve campsites in advance!). We were able to take a family of four and relatively comfortably sleep in the rooftop tent. Luis is a terrific host who helped us out immensely. We’ll be back!!

I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many fine resorts. This is the best trip I’ve ever taken! I was able to travel the entire island and enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian lifestyle by day and weather while I slept comfortably at night. I played Golf, slept on the beach, dined in fine Waikiki restaurants, and ordered Poke from the local supermarket in this rig.

Luis is a great guy and the track had all we needed. Luis suggested us a few places to visit and spend the night.
It is quite easy to find a spot to spend the night along the beach, there are a lot of local people doing the same.
The pick-up runs great, just keep in mind that runs at 15mpg when planning your trip.

Great car to drive. Mechanically sound and comfortable. Plenty of room for luggage. Pop up tent easy to use once we could release the strap, which had seized. So set up is a breeze. The bedding felt damp and we didn’t use it. The tent had a pair of shorts inside so doubt it was cleaned after last use. So cleanliness was the only thing I could fault.

I absolutely loved the experience with outdoorsy and Luis. It was much easier then renting a car with other companies.
The car is really good, with all the supplies we needed. Luis is really kind and helpful. The trip couldn’t be better. I’d definitely recommend renting this car!

This person is not recommended at all, he is very rude, no one gives you the vehicle in person and when you ask him the first thing he tells you is that if you are not comfortable, he will return your full money and offer you 100 dollars in cash, and if You ask again what type of gas the vehicle carries, he gets angry and tells you that if you do not agree, he returns your money and gives you 100 dollars in cash, when you return the vehicle he cheats you, because he only gives you the cash, but what about Outdoorsy no. until I was rude with him, since he lied to me and many days later he returned a proportional part to me, but this guy's business is to pressure you so that you return the vehicle and he keep your money, if you paid 1000 dollars the He gives you 100 cash back, but the promise to give you back all your money is a fraud. That's this guy's business. Any questions .. send an email to edruy83@hotmail.com I have evidence of the anger of this guy was, for demanding that someone should give me the vehicle in person as the Outdoorsy policy says, for asking him the normal thing as what kind of gasoline He uses the vehicle, he is Colombian and among Latinos you have to be very careful. I have proof that this person pressured and deceived me by telling me one thing and then his strategy to rob me.

This was an amazing way to experience Hawaii! Camp set up & rental car in one! Luis provided us with all the essentials for our stay. We found campsites off hip camp and had really pleasurable interactions with the locals. Would definitely do this again on our next visit to the island!

We had this unit for 7 days and it was great !
Tent setup is real easy and we got a lot of attention!
We did bring a queen size airmatress but only because we are a bit older and like
the extra cushioning !
Had everything we needed ,only thing that would have been nice would have been a camping stove to make some easy meals or hot water.
Luis was easy to deal with.
And make sure you go eat at his restaurant,it is absolutely amazing !

Staying in this Jeep was a memorable experience, but I wouldn’t do it again. The host was very responsive and kind, there were just some things I didn’t know ahead of time. For example, you need to buy propane for the grill, and it needs to be a very specific kind. We were unable to use the grill because of this. I would also recommend booking a campsite and getting a camping permit very far in advance if you don’t want to sleep on the side of the road, like we ended up doing. Most of our troubles came from a lack of knowledge on my part, so I wanted to pass along the lessons I learned.

This was an amazing RV/Jeep to rent! The owner is very kind. If you are looking for a great car for a great deal this is the car to rent! We had no issues and made our trip one to remember. I was sad to leave it behind when we had to go home!

Great experience! The jeep was supplied with everything we needed for a great trip. We grilled on the beach with everything included and the beach towels / chairs were essential. The owner was flexible and helped us with suggestions of where to stay and what to do. Effortless from pick up to drop off and quick. Well done!
