2017 Coachmen Clipper
This Clipper Ultra Lite travel trailer is just the right size to tow behind most any size truck and is all you need for your next adventure!Perfect for two people or a family of 3-4 (small kids). There is a queen size bed and a dinette that makes into another small bed. The bathroom has it's own sink, toilet & shower and the kitchen is decked out with a small refrigerator, sink, two-burner stove, microwave, coffee pot as well as all the kitchen supplies you'll need. Plenty of storage throughout!We provide a thorough orientation for all rentals, so you'll fee confident as you hit the road. If you want to check it out, we store it in South Houston off the Gulf Frweeway near Hobby Airport and we're happy to meet you so you can take a look.To tow this trailer you will need a brake controller, a 7-way plug and ability to pull 3000 lbs. We can assist you with these items if you do not have them for a nominal fee. A standard 2 5/16" ball is required.If the trailer is scheduled to be returned after hours or on a weekend, the return inspection will not be performed until the next business day (Monday - Friday).We provide Rental Insurance on this trailer.
Renter must be a minimum of 25 years of age and be able to successfully pass a background check.Special Notes:
*Hook-ups (electricity, fresh water, waste/sewage) – WE DO NOT Recommend Operating “OFF THE Grid” Unless YOU ARE A Very Experienced RVer. It is important to connect the RV to hook-ups at all stops (electricity, water, waste), otherwise you will be operating “off-the-grid” and unless you are extremely knowledgeable about managing the battery power, generator functions and fresh/waste/gray water, this could turn your well-intentioned get-away into…well, a nightmare scenario. The tank sizes for this RV are: 40/25/32 (fresh/waste/gray). In addition, the hot water heater is only 6 gallons. As you can imagine, you can run out of fresh water Very quickly and your waste tank can fill up extremely fast. Then what happens? Unless you bring additional fresh water with you or you refill repeatedly at planned locations, you’ll have no water for showers, cooking, washing hands, etc. And unless dumped frequently, the waste tank will begin to smell…it’s not a good situation to get yourself into.
