Florissant is one of the larger cities in Missouri and has some diverse historical attractions, such as the Old St. Ferdinand Shrine and the James J Eagan Center. The shrine is a series of four buildings, a church, rectory, convent, and schoolhouse that symbolizes the Jesuit movement that existed here and has amazing architecture and stained glass. The center is a community center that hosts plays, events, and many other activities.
