Kamp Komfort Campground is an RV Park that is located in Carlock, Illinois about 15 minutes from Bloomington-Normal. They offer 30 and 50 amp sites with pull-thrus and full hookups, The Campground is about 7 miles from Interstate 55 and Interstate on the Interstate 74 exit. Bloomington-Normal is one of the major crossroads in Illinois. Champaign is only 1 hour east, Rockford is a couple hours north, and Peoria is about 1 hour west. If you have a taste for authentic Cajun food, the Cajun Connection in Utica Illinois is about 1 hour away right next to Starved Rock State Park. . Kamp Komfort is well maintained. The grass and shrubbery are neatly cut, and all the sites are gravels and level. The staff is warm and friendly. The Campground itself doesn?t have a lot to do, but you will finds many things to keep you busy and entertained around the area.

Jubilee College State Park just outside of Peoria, Illinois, is truly an outdoors experience. The site are large and grassy, with only electricity. There is water available and a shower house. The campground host will be happy to help you find a spot and tell you about the things to do in the area. There are miles upon miles of hiking and biking trails.The hiking trails will take you through a backcountry hiking experience without having to leave the path. This is a place of peace and quiet. You can expect to see butterflies, dragonflies, deer, frogs and salamanders. Watch out for wild turkeys! Fish for bass and bluegill in the pond. Enjoy your lunch outdoors under a pavilion in the shade. You will find this out of the way park full of nature delights, and the preserved 19th century college structures, and an interesting cemetery with fascinating headstones and history. This basic park is very woodsy and will get you close to nature.
