Great trip! Trailer was clean. Great price. The owner was fantastic to work with. Definitely will use again.
The trailer itself needs a deep clean. I was appalled at the condition of cleanliness… I understand we are camping but this is past that. I wouldn’t recommend this trailer and we won’t be using it again. You get what you paid for. We are also concerned he didn’t fill up the water tank all the way because we ran out so fast…
This was not a great experience. It appeared that the trailer was not prepped for use. Old urine left in composting commode (was 1/3 full and smelled awful). Urine splash dried onto commode. Shower did not work and handles broken out of wall. We ended up closing the door and not using the bathroom at all. I emptied out the urine at end of our trip simply b/c I felt sorry for the young owner who hadn't managed this well. Water tank was not filled, gray water tank not emptied. Only one miniblind present, but broken. No screen on the door or most windows. Freezer smelled like rotten meat when opened, so did not use. Propane low in one tank and other tank empty. This 2015 trailer has a lot of damage with cabinet doors missing, etcetera. I wiped surfaces down with bleach wipes and used own bedding and utensils since I couldn't gaurentee anything was clean.
Though it was nice that the owner offered to, and did deliver and pick up the trailer, in retrospect I wonder if he feared we would cancel the rental had we seen it first if we'd picked it up ourselves as planned.
The owner is really great and went out of his way to help in any way he could. The trailer is a little beat up, but it has everything you would need.
This was perfect for our trip to Mammoth Lakes. John was great, the trailer was clean and comfortable.
