This was a great experience! The VW Westy was a great way to explore the island without having to return to a resort. We were able to stay in the areas we wanted to in order to have a more relaxing time and bit feel rushed seeing everything we wanted to see. A little preplanning and getting the campsites booked ahead of time allowed us to just enjoy the trip when we arrived. We explored 80% of the island in the Westy and loved all of it. Todd was very helpful before the trip in answering any questions I had.

Found it a little tough to find good camping on the island but that wasn’t Todd’s fault and he did have some super helpful information on how to make it easier. Seeing the island from a Maui Westy is great way to get off the beaten path a bit and really see the great parts of a beautiful island. Thanks Todd @ Maui Westy campers for a great trip

Had the most amazing time. Having the Westy we were able to see and do things that I wouldn’t been possible if we stayed in a resort. Having Rocky we enjoyed more sunrises and sunsets than I could ever wish for. We spent so much time experiencing the true beauty of Maui. No crowds, no problems. Would do this a million times over again. It doesn’t mean that there were a few hiccups along the way, but Todd was very responsive and made sure we were back on the road in no time. Thanks for a great experience.

Had a great time!! Would recommend making sure there is enough of each piece of silverware for each camper + phone mount for the dash = much safer for the driver :)

Maui westy campers was Amazing! Todd was beyond helpful in the lay of the land of maui & our camper Rocky. It was a smooth transition from picking up to dropping off. Rocky herself was an amazing smooth ride for the 4 night stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Thank Todd & Rocky & Maui Westy for the experience of a lifetime!!!! 🤙🏼

We really enjoyed our four days with Rocky. Our daughter always wanted to travel and sleep in a "scooby doo" van and I love classic cars. We had great time and loved driving it. We were 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids. A full house - but manageable for a few nights even if warm at night. Todd has taken great care with the Westys and was most helpful. He was also extremely prompt in all responses which makes a real difference. For those who are not very regular campers I'd recommend a full discussion with Todd to get his views about what exactly each campsite offers (they vary hugely) and think about that carefully. We ended up basing ourselves in Olawalu and doing great day trips to huge variety of places. (The beach beside the Olawalu is poor and disappointing but the are some great ones nearby). More importantly the campsite is well managed, v good showers and maintained toilets, and is safe and away from the road. Many thanks Todd. Paul W

We enjoyed every day with the bus. No problems with anything and did run great.
