Goldie was a trooper and Tony is a gem. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and genuine. We really enjoyed renting from him. The roofnest is super comfortable and included everything we needed to have an epic time. Thanks!!!!

Everything went perfect!
Goldie is surviving the pass of the years like a good wine. There is some things than can be improved of fixed but those are without relevant importance.
The communication was perfect and the car was very clean.
I think is tricky to find places to sleep. Maui is very crowed and there is only few places to book. Calendar is busy even in low season (2 weeks in advance) I highly recommend to book places in legal campsites before book the car because you can find difficulties on that. However there is a few spots where you can sleep without reservation, but those is no the best places at all.

We had Goldie for a week and took her to Hana and back. We had no trouble on any road and the roof tent was easy to set up. We were using the beach, kitchen and sleeping bag set with were all appropriate and clean. During nightly rains in Hana the hard top roof of the tent was a life saver. we'd totally choose Goldie again and also Tony is a really nice guy, as well as the whole Outdoorsy Team.

The car was great and the Roofnest was very comfortable. Furthermore Tony was really great. He took A LOT of time to give us tips for our Trip and to give us all the instructions for the car. I would book this car again and definetly recommend it.

Zoe, Tony, and the Camp Car team were wonderful! I've been coming to Maui for 35 years. Exploring in Goldie was a really amazing way to rediscover the island with my boyfriend, who is new to both Maui and camping. He loved the rooftop tent (very exciting for me as a lifelong camper and backpacker) and we had a great time on Haleakala and down the road to Hana. The CampCar team was really helpful in planning our trip and introducing us to rooftop tent camping. Definitely will be coming back to rent from them again!

Carl was so friendly and welcoming! He showed is many fantastic places to visit on the island and even provided a cooler, flash lights, towels, and squirt guns for our boys. As a family having the opportunity to camp and the roof top tent was a fun adventure that our boys really enjoyed. Our vehicle worked Great for our family.

We pretty much enjoyed our booking with campervan. The communication with carl was just in time and the additional infos very helpful. We have enjoyed our trip to the fullest and would definitely be back.

This Jeep is the perfect way to see Maui. It drove really well (even though we were driving on the opposite side of the road to normal!) and the size of the Jeep was more than enough for two people.
