From the first time we attempted to use the sink it was stopped up and took hours to drain. Because of this we only cooked one meal in the van and shifted to eating out during our use. Unfortunately, I had spent nearly $200 on food to cook in the van that largely went to waste. Upon the Van's return Nate admitted that the drain sometimes plugs and that he blows it out from time to time. That's not OK. The drain should work 100% of the time and be checked prior to any use. I'd recommend changing out the Hepvo valve in it before it is rented again.

The trip was great!!!! From start all was smooth and well organized. We got to the pickup place two hours earlier and John let us leave our luggage at their shop and recommended a nice lunch place near by. We picked up the Rv at 3 pm and after a short check out process we hit the road. We had some trouble with the Rv on Christmas Day ( hit a pothole and got some mechanical trouble ) but John and Sean were a big help!!!!! We used our road assistant that we pay a little extra when we booked a trip, and Sunday a great driver from towing company 808 Towing Stu, got us safely back driving on Hana Road back to the Outdorsy rental place where next morning Sean fix the RV in two hours ,and we were back on the road again. John was in contact with us all the time through that stressful time. It turned out there was nothing to worry about we were in good hands. The things we were able to see on the island verse breath taking and we literally drove the whole island. The RV was a little to low for some of the Mauis roads especially the one e in the parks but we made it!!! You have all you need in the RV. Some things saw a better days but all still works. The return process was smooth as well. Overall Great trip. We highly recommended.

We loved the Maui Wowie campervan. It was perfect for us! We saw the island the way we wanted and experienced so much this more with a van vs. a resort. This particular van drove really well and was a luxury to have the extra space. Campervan Hawaii was awesome to work with!!!

Overall, the van was great, and we had a ton of fun exploring Maui and seeing the national park. A few small things like the key fob batteries but working and no trash bags included, but all in all, it was awesome to have our own house on wheels!!

We had a great Maui vacation and renting a campervan is a MUST to enjoy Waianapanapa State Park, Hana, black sand beach, red sand beach, etc.
The campervan was well-equipped and well maintained!
During the travel, the team was available for any questions.
We will definitely rent it again on our next Maui vacation. Maui is breathtaking!

We had the best trip in this vehicle. Definitely the best way to see Maui especially the East side of the island. Vehicle was clean, easy to drive and had no issues the entire 9 night trip. Bed was very comfortable as well We are looking forward to renting another one of Campervan Hawaii's vehicles on a different island next time we return as we had such a good time.

I just had the best weekend with my three kids cruising around and exploring Maui! We live in Honolulu so it's hard to afford flying all the way to the mainland for a weekend getaway. This was the perfect escape for us to enjoy so many sights and sounds off the beaten path all thanks to Campervan Hawaii. We explored the Kaanapali coast, up country Maui and even made it up to the summit of Haleakala (the photos we got were incredible).
From start to finish, the experience was seamless. We picked up our van right on time with all the bells and whistles. This van is a state of the art design and has amazing amenities from the fridge to the bathroom to the sound system - everything you need has been thought of and designed to be both useful and conveniently located within the van! We were so impressed with how much they were able to incorporate in what looked like a small space from the outside. There was ample room to dine, lounge, sleep even cook our own food all while perched on a gorgeous seaside! To my surprise, it's incredibly drive-able (something this working mom worried about as I'm not accustomed to larger vehicles). We all slept very comfortably and there's nothing like leaving those back doors open so you get those breezes and hear the ocean all night long. The shades came in quite handy when wanting the breeze but not the sunlight, and we loved being able to just fold everything in and lock up so we could go exploring or hiking without having to drive anywhere.
I'm not gonna lie.....Drop off at the end of the weekend was sad - we wished we had more days to spend - but Campervan made everything really easy and hassle free even though we all pouted our way back onto the plane. The best thing for me and my budget was how affordable it was to have this experience. Normally I would have to pay at least $300 a night for a hotel, spend more on meals while staying at the hotel, and spend at least $100 a day for a rental car to get us where we wanted to go. This was just heaven - a brief stop at the grocery store and we were all set for the weekend in our home away from home - on wheels. I cannot recommend this more for those of you who like to explore the true beauty of Hawaii in comfort and style - so much adventure awaits! I can't wait to try Campervan on the Big Island in the near future. Thanks so much Campervan Hawaii for making our weekend full of memories to last a lifetime.

Great way to travel around the island! Don’t have to worry about paying hotel resort fees or hotel parking fees, and no rental car. Comfortable bed and easy to drive.
