Eastern Kansas is a region often associated with flat terrain and farm fields that stretch for miles. Renting an RV opens up new realms of possibilities though, giving you the freedom to ditch the interstate and explore some of the sights off the beaten path. When you rent an RV near Ottawa, KS, you can experience a more authentic example of Kansas.
A good place to start this motorhome camping adventure is Pomona Campground inside Pomona State Park. Not only is it an RV-friendly campground, but it’s also centrally located near some of the area’s best off-the-beaten-path attractions. The majority of the RV sites at Pomona Campground offer water and electrical hookups, but a few have full hookups if that’s what you need for your RV rental. You’ll also have access to clean toilets and showers when camping at Pomona Campground.
In addition to these well-equipped and well-shaded sites, the campground has dozens of fun activities to participate in with a disc golf course, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, a playground for smaller children, and a great swimming beach. There’s no excuse for not spending time outside when you get a campervan rental to use at Pomona Campground.
