Thought I would put together some information regarding what you can use in our trailer when you’re connected to shore power and city water and what you can use when your Boondocking (off the grid) If you are going to a campground with full hookups, you can just plug in and enjoy everything Hot water, Shower, Microwave, AC, Furnace, TV, DVD. Being able to plug any of your devices into any of the 110 v receptacles (phone, iPad, computer, etc...)Never have to worry about running out of power.
Boondocking: Now here it gets a little trickier When you don’t have the advantage of plugging in, you are NOW running off the battery power.
DC power You will NOT have AC. Will not be able to plug in any 110 v device, coffee pot, toaster, TV, phones, computers, etc.. You can run your lights, water pump, furnace, slide, and any DC item Depending on how many batteries the unit has you will get 1-4 days of power. I keep my solar panel connected all the time to keep the battery topped up. Please don’t get stuck without power. I don’t want anyone disappointed with renting our trailer.
