We are all about the Outdoors at work and at play. We use the Transit AWD for work attending cycling, skiing, and outdoor events. Then we use it for photoshoots, video production and to thank our hardworking staff when they need a break. So we keep the Transit in tip-top condition since it is brand new, 2021, and must be ready for many work-related trips.

Van and experience was perfect.

This was my first RV-type rental ever and I was very nervous about it. Scott put my mind at ease after walking me through everything that I needed to know about the Van before taking it on the road. A comfortable ride and easy setup once we got to our campsite.

Scott & Adrian’s answer

Thanks Ira, thanks for the kind words and glad your daughters had a great time in the tree house!

We had so much fun with this van! Our group of 4 fit comfortably for our week long trip and it was extremely drivable, even up and down the mountains on windy days. The best part was that we never once had to hook up/plug in, the solar power easily kept us going with everything we needed the whole time! The van also comes with lots of handy supplies like dishes/cookware for 4, cleaning supplies, first aid kid, etc. The beds were also extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby the entire trip even with it getting into the 20s most nights. Scott was very friendly, helpful, and responsive - we would rent again from him in a heartbeat! Having the extra amenities that this van provides was totally worth it!

Lauren & I want to thank ScottMontgomery of Ketchum, Idaho for the rental of his 2020 Ford Transit custom van. It was perfect and Scott was wonderful to rent it from. We rented the customized van to drive back to Michigan to see our kids and family who we haven’t seen in over a year because of the COVID virus. The van was excellent and Scott went out of his way to make the van and our rental absolutely perfect in every way. We definitely would rent from Scott again.
Thank You Scott! Best Rick & Lauren

We had fun with the van and were the envy of the campsites. The van was clean and came equipped with everything as advertised. Scott was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely rent again.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can drop off or pick you up in Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, or the Hailey airport.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The Transit is based on the Ford F150 V6 Twin Turbo and has Apple Play, backup cameras, so frankly drives just like a full-sized pickup or SUV. Since the roof pops up when needed the vehicle is much easier to drive in the wind on highways and parks in normal-sized parking lots. One of the reasons we purchased this over the Sprinter was the ease of driving. Then add AWD and makes driving a breeze.

Q.Transit ModVan vs. Sprinter Custom Buildout?
A.
Trust us we looked at both Sprinter and Transit carefully and for many months. To us the choice was easy, the Transit with automatic roof lift to enable 4 to sleep comfortably was the easy winner. Then add the super refined and proven F150 engine and serviceability and no stench from diesel vs no-lead gas and the decision was made. If we needed a final advantage it was the low roofline to make highway driving much easier as you don't get blown around by the wind as you do in all the high roof.
