Best vacation at Maui. Samuel thought of everything. I told him that we are heading to Haleakala mountain, he prepares us the portable potty because it is way too cold for my mom to go out to bathroom. He also prepare sleeping bags for us and told us what to do to keep warm. The RV is big and comfortable. A lot of other outdoorsy saw it and wish they had ours because we don’t need to setup tent and climb up to go to sleep

There’s no better way to explore Maui than by camper van. The owner thought of everything! We had 2 coolers, outdoor shower, generator, and even a microwave. My family had a blast. It was a very pleasant trip even with my 1 year old daughter, thanks to the convenience of the van. All we had to worry about was filling the water jugs for the sink and shower. We drove it the entire road to Hana and up to Haleakala National Park. We were able to camp on beach every night with it. This was perfect!

For any adventurer, the van experience is fantastic...Lodging and transportation in the convenience of one vehicle! We had the freedom to buy a 3LB. cut of Ahi tuna and BBQ on the bayfront in Hana, camp south of Wailea, and travel the upcountry through Kula, and body board at Fleming beach on the west coast. The rig allowed us the opportunity to see and experience the natural beauty, as well as the warmth and hospitality of people from around the whole island!

Sam is very responsive and helpful!
The van was clean and we were very happy we used it. The equipment varied a bit from the photos (we had two medium sized new white coolers, two new navy beach chairs with pop out tables, no mattress for the third bed but we didn't need it) and everything was in working order.
Note: the COVID pandemic has resulted in beach camping being closed in Maui. We stayed at a friends' home who had limited space for guests in his house so this van worked for us but we expected to be camping out beachside more often during our trip.
I would book it again next time!

Sam and his wife are great! Easy to work with. Friendly and accommodating to our needs. Sam's transit is like a luxury hotel room on wheels. This RV comes with everything we needed and things I did not know I needed. Sam put in a lots of thought into his RV set up. We get to rest anywhere we wanted and picked right back up where we left off. Renting Sam's RV differently elevate our family vacation in Maui! Thank you so much.

We had no problems with our rental. Traveled everywhere in Maui we wanted to go. No hassle with pickup and return, Sam was very easy to work with and always answered me quickly. Very comfortable bed and battery pack worked great for blending our pinnacoladas and morning coffee.!

Great Van ! Fully equiped with all you may need (outside shower, coolers, chairs, rechargeable battery kit for lights…). Sam was helpful and suggest good sights to see. Very good experience overall. Thanks Samuel !

A great experience with Sam's very spacious van. Absolutely no problems with the vehicle as we took it around both mountains. This is a big rig so when you park you'll need a little extra room (especially due to the length). But this vehicle is a great way to explore Maui and not have to set anything up when you arrive at your destination.

Do NOT rent from Sam. He is a scam artist. He will attempt to file a claim on every scratch and dent he finds only to collect the insurance money. We know this because he is trying to claim $1200 in damages to us! More than the actually reservation. All the unfixed damages are proof. SAM THE SCAM ARTIST!!! Beware!! Rent from someone else and save yourself from the distress!!!! I promise you!

Had a great experience with Sam. He was incredibly helpful, and did an amazing job including all the trip essentials (i.e. cookware, sleeping bags, 10x10 shade tent, grill, cook top). It was clean, organized, and very well cared for. Would rent again in a heartbeat. It's an amazing way to see Maui. Camped in this with our 2 year old son and it was PERFECT. He (our son) was VERY sad when we had to say "bye-bye" to the "bus."

Sam was great to deal with! Lovely family and he helped arrange our rides. His van was very well kept, clean and had all the necessary camping items including additional blankets when it got cold (rare but at crater). It is 21’ so be aware parking is a little more tricky at times but the backup camera was super helpful! Fully equipped and it was so great to have rinse with the shower after beach days. The pump shower gets you 2-3 showers per fill depending how fast you are. Vehicle handled very well and was great on gas. Ideal way to see Maui! We loved it!

A great rental! Lovely family with great response and flexibility. We drove to Hana and camped at the state park with a camper can permit. I wish I had reached out to the owners during my planning, as they had so much insight and the van is STOCKED. Coffee maker, knives, cutting boards. You will be set for all the fruit stands you will hit up along the way (bring many small bills). Additionally, the van is QUIET. You won’t get woken up by loud neighbors or the roosters.

Trip as amazing. Vehicle was spotless and exactly as described. Everything you could possibly need. Well thought out. Samuel was amazing and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Though he says he can only do that if he is available. :)
Only small complaint, is the inverter system is just 18v drill battery's that have to be charged by the generator. So not a lot of power if boondocking. But a brand new quiet generator is also provided, so you're never without power. Over all if you are contemplating, go for it! It was so good!
And stay at Camp Olowalu, it has amazing facilities and great snorkeling right at it's own beach!
