This was our first time using Outdoorsy and we had a great time
The description of the RV was fair, and my expectations were met accordingly. I think this is a good value and we didn’t have any issues.

I can not recommend Outdoorsy or this RV for rent.
We needed to rent last minute (about 3-4 days before we left) because of a death in the family and wanted to travel to the funeral services together with family, we settled on this RV. Hunter had recently purchased it and didn't put the full explanation of the vehicle on the rental site, so we were under the impression that it was in good shape. The few photos he had online looked decent and strategically didn't show the water stain and the condition of the air vent and bathroom sink so we rented. As we spoke with him in the coming days we found out that he had recently purchased it and had not gone thru the vehicle adequately to make sure everything was running, we couldn't cancel by this time without losing our money, so we did the best we could to prompt Hunter to check all the fluids, tires, generator etc. We did have to get one tire replaced during our travel, on the back because the valve was bad. The engine traveled the 3000 miles relatively well however the cab AC is not functioning unless you are going downhill with your foot off the gas. The house AC spews a fine black dust that coats everything and also the filter from the main intake would drop large pieces of the filter. We would wash the table numerous times and the cloth would always come back black, I can only imagine what went into our lungs. When we returned this is the list of items we recommended he fix before he rents again, sharing so you can check for yourselves. The motorhome also had not been cleaned at all upon delivery, I will post photos below, Hunter did give us a small 200.00 credit for this and apologized. Just know what you are renting, an old motorhome with numerous flaws.1. Flush water storage systems, the water stinks we could not use it without boiling it.
2. Clean and change air filters for the house air conditioner, because of the dust and filter pieces.
3. Fix leveling Jack's, they broke while we had the motorhome and we were unable to get the needed repairs made, the system was overheating, lucky there wasn't a fire.
4. Fix the bathroom faucet, it is not attached to the counter, it lifts up from the counter and leaks.
5. Shampoo carpets and chair cushions, just needs it so bad.
6. Thoroughly clean and sterilize all surfaces, including walls, blinds, fridge and microwave. They were filthy upon delivery and looked like they had not ever been cleaned.
7. Get rid of the ants. We thought they may be coming from the water system or air conditioning vents because we kept seeing them coming from the kitchen sink area and dropping from the ceiling in the back room onto the bed. Several of our group got ant bites.
8. Return house air vent cover is missing 2 screws, one of which would be screwed in and promptly fall out again.
9. Just so you know the TV is black and white.
10. The kitchen window blind bracket is broken, so when you drive it makes noise. It needs to be placed in the upright position while driving.
11. Fix the water stain on the wall in the bed over the cab. Hunter said the leak had been fixed but the stain was still there. We didn't have any rain so can't verify if it was fixed.
12. When we got the tire fixed the guy that fixed it told us not to put so much pressure in the tires so it would be a more gentle ride. He was correct. Make sure the tire pressure is correct if you are driving very far. It is an extremely bumpy ride if not.
13. The radio in the cab is broken, this was not listed when we booked, however Hunter did tell us it was broken about 2-3 days later.
14. The window wipers need to be changed, we did hit minor sprinkles on our drive home and the wipers were not really helpful, glad we didn't get any more significant rain or we would have needed to pull over.
15. Need a heavier duty extension cord, we kept blowing a breaker with the lighter extension cord.
16. The left reverse light is out, Hunter stated he had looked at it and it was working after we returned.The positives:
1. Hunter was very responsive and helpful with issues, questions and responded quickly to help. He should have taken the initiative to get all this done before he rented/listed so we didn't need to think of them or find them out for ourselves.
2. The beds were comfortable, however considering the motorhome had not been thoroughly sterilized as advertised it was very uncomfortable to sleep there, glad we brought our own bedding.
3. The motorhome drives as it should considering its age.
4. It is very spacious, plenty of storage areasThe photos show the baked on food on the cooktop, the water stain in the bed over cab, the sink that is not attached in the bathroom and the filthy floors. It also shows the dirty shower and soap dish in the shower along with the bugs.
We were able to clean most of this with clorox wipes, however when we rented we didn't have time to spare because of our long drive. It was extremely inconvenient to stop and clean with inadequate supplies and hope for the best. In my opinion Hunter should have offered to credit the full cost of the generator because of the inadequate air-conditioning as well as the cleaning fee. $200.00 was not adequate to compensate for all the issues we had to deal with while traveling including the repair of the tire valve as well as a later tire replacement and attempting to fix the stabilizing jacks that ultimately could not be fixed.
