Meet Austin, our brand-new Jeep Wrangler. This all-American off-road vehicle is a must for any aspiring adventurer. This year, why not enjoy the stateside experience on this side of the pond? Swap Route 66 for the North Coast 500 and explore off the beaten track in the Scottish Highlands. Combined with your TentBox, you can enjoy all the freedom of the classic road trip. Sleeping on top of your Jeep truly is a unique experience allowing you to wake up amongst some of the UK’s most dramatic landscapes.We know that even the most experienced campers love a bit of luxury. With a TentBox, there’s no need to worry about uneven ground or uncomfortable camping beds, just park up and pop up your tent for an instant room with a view. Your TentBox is also fully insulated and completely waterproof so, even in the winter, you’ll be warm and cosy at night. We also provide a solar panel, power box, fridge, camping stove and kitchen utensils to make getting you on the road as quick and easy as possible.The vehicle cannot be driven off-road.In July and August, pick-up and drop off Fridays and Mondays Only. For the rest of the year, pick-up from 1600 to 1800 and drop-off from 0900 to 1300, Thursday to Mondays (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Other things to noteThe vehicle cannot be driven off-road and pets are not allowed. In July and August, pick-up and drop off Fridays and Mondays ONLY. For the rest of the year, pick-up from 1600 to 1800 and drop-off from 0900 to 1300, Thursday to Mondays (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). See our other vehicles for alternative handover days.Our main requirements to be able to hire a van here at GOAT Roadtrip are:- To be aged between 23 and 75
- To have a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
- To have a UK/EU driving licence with address displayed
- To provide a DVLA check number
- To provide 2 further proofs of addressWe also have the following driving licence requirements:- You have not had your licence suspended for any period within the last three years
- You have not been involved in more than 1 ‘fault’ incident within the last three years
- You have not had more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction
- You have not obtained a BA, DD or UT conviction
o BA: Disqualified Driver
o DD: Reckless/ Dangerous Driving
o UT: Theft or Unauthorised TakingWe accept the following documents as proof of address:- Bank statements including e-statements
- Utility bills
- Council tax bills
- All of the above must be dated within 90 days of the hire start date and all addresses must match the address displayed on the driving licence

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Pick up as standard is from 14.00 and drop-off by 11.00 but if the vehicle is available there is room for flexibility, especially in low season, for an additional cost.
Q.Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately Austin is not pet-friendly. Please see our other available vehicles if you wish to bring your furry friend with you :)
Q.What days can I start the hire from?
A.
Austin can be rented any day from Thursday to Monday, apart from in July and August when he is available Mondays and Fridays only.
Q.Can I drive off-road?

No - Austin is not insured to be driven off-road.
