This privately owned camper is great for anyone new to camping OR a seasoned veteran.
Nascar trip with the guys ? YEP.
Fishing trip to Cave Run or Lake Cumberland ? YEP
Business trip to the KHP for one of the spectacular shows or conferences ? Why get a hotel offsite ? Stay at the KHP campground. YEP.
Travel baseball ? YEP
Just want to try before you buy ? YEP ! Great idea.
At only 3,250 pounds dry, the JayFlight is easy to tow with most vehicles. I easily tow it with a Toyota Tacoma.
Don't let the small size fool you. It has lots of room. 2 twin bunks that are big enough to comfortably sleep an adult or 2 12 year olds or younger in each bunk ! The dining center folds down into a full size bed as well. So, a mom, dad, and 4 kiddos under 12 can crash in this camper after a long day at the lake, out on the hiking trails or just sitting around the campfire grubbing on hot dogs and s'mores !
Comfort conveniences include an AC that blows ice cold, nice size refrigerator freezer, 2 burner gas stove top, sink, microwave, TV and DVD player along with an AM/FM radio that has Bluetooth connectivity so you can listen to your favorite tunes or the game inside AND OR outside the camper. The automatic awning has speakers, so you can crank up the music while enjoying an evening by the campfire.
Also in the camper is a shower tub and toilet. Definitely beats showering in a community bathhouse or that dreaded 3 am stroll to the campground restroom.
If you plan on towing the camper to a destination of your choice, to help prepare you for a worry free adventure, I created a camper specific setup guide for your convenience. This guide walks you all the way from parking the camper, to leveling it, blocking it, water and electric connection, to the sometimes intimidating process of dealing with the black and gray water disposal. This guide will be with you in a binder, but I can email it to you before the trip, so you are comfortable with the equipment and enjoy your trip instead of stressing over the camper.
If the guide doesn't answer questions on your trip, I am Always available via phone or text to help out, but I think you'll find that your campground neighbor is Always willing to help as well.
Be sure to ask about week and monthly rental discounts. Building a home or traveling to work on a construction site ? Renting a camper is a great idea when overseeing a building project. Stay right on the site.
As for cleanliness, I treat this camper and your rental like you are staying at a high end hotel. I give it a thorough cleaning after each rental to keep that like new appearance and feel. Nothing more gross than spending good money on a place to stay and finding hair in the tub. Yikes. That Will NOT happen here.
Thanks for checking out my listing. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will go out of my way to make your adventure as worry free as possible.
Also, Bunks and the over-table full side bed are designed for 250lbs or less.
Camper should be returned in "like" cleanliness condition. If excessive cleaning is required by the owner upon return, $150 may be withheld from the security deposit to cover those costs.
Camper is equipped with a GPS unit. Not because I don't trust my renters, but because I don't trust those who might steal the rig from my renters. I do monitor the GPS for asset tracking along with driver behavior. The stated recommended max speed is 70 mph. If a speed trigger of 75 or greater is sent, renters are subject to a discretionary $50 fee per occurrence, after 1 warning. Excessive speed is unsafe AND greatly increases wear and tear on the bearings and brakes. BUT after 2 years with this policy, I have never had impose so much as the warning, nonetheless a penalty. Safe travels !

Should be noted that this has never happened and I hope to keep it that way.

Again, I’ve never had to impose this penalty. Just try to communicate late arrivals. Stuff happens.

Meet your host, Kevin

Love renting this camper. It's become more of a hobby than a way to earn a little extra cash.
Love to see people return from their trips with a smile on their face and a sense of accomplishment being able to successfully navigate the camper without trouble. I want new campers to enjoy their trip and not worry about the camper. It is a tool to make the trip more enjoyable, not a burden.

Great experience and great trip. Such easy communication with Kevin. Was so thankful for the cold A/c during a very hot weekend. Camper was great for my girls and I.

Overall our experience was GREAT! We (me, my wife, and 5 y/o daughter) could not have asked for a better person to rent from. The information he provides, responsive and clear communication, and the pride he takes in his camper shined through from the very start. The camper itself was absolutely spotless and had been kept in basically brand new condition. This was our first time taking a camper ourselves, always just stayed with others before, and Kevin was beyond willing to help with any of our questions or concerns. The camper had more then enough room for us and was no problem towing with my 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro.

Kevin’s answer

Thanks for the kind words Jeremy.
Glad you had a great experience.
Hope to see you again.
Have a great summer !

We had a wonderful getaway in Kevin Myers' RV. Service and delivery was professional, helpful, and prompt. The RV was very clean and all set up and ready to "vacay,' when we arrived. Everything in this RV was working well and easy to use!

Kevin’s answer

Thanks for the kind words.
Glad you all had a good weekend.
Hope to see you again in the future.
Kevin

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I work 2nd shift, so in general, the earlier the pickup the better. For me, that's between 10 am to 2 pm. As for return, around 3 pm is fine. Can be earlier. Can be a little later, but not past 6 pm. I understand things come up. Just communicate with me and I'll accommodate as best I can.

Q.Where do you offer free delivery and setup ?
A.
Mainly, if it's within a 20 mile radius of my home address, I'll be happy to deliver and setup at no charge. Campground wise, this includes the Kentucky Horsepark and Whispering Hills in Goergetown. Outside that radius, I try to keep delivery costs to fuel and a small fee for time outside what it would take to do a free local delivery and setup. If there's any confusion or questions, feel free to ask.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Absolutely ! Research. There are some great youtube videos to assist in just about any aspect of RVing. As for my camper, I have a camper specific setup guide that I email out so renter can become familiar with the rig before they hit the road. PLUS, at pickup, I'll give another overview of everything and make sure you are comfortable before heading out.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
That is addressed in detail, in my camper specific setup guide, emailed shortly after a rental is made. YouTube is another great resource. My goal is for renters to not be worried about the camper, but instead be comfortable enough that it's a tool to help make a camping trip more enjoyable and not a burden.
