The tent was a bit wet when we picked it up. All clean. When we hit a hole on the street, the car turned off. Luckily i could fix the issue. Otherwise car went smooth. Pickup was very easy, such ad drop off.

Excellent experience and perfect setup for a proper island adventure! Although finding places to park and camp can be a little difficult for the less adventurous.

Very good car, easy to go on any place of Kauai ! Easy to pick up and drop off.
The car tent was not 100% waterproof but to be fair, the night it got wet, it was a big rain with a storm alert

The Tacoma was great! All you need to explore the island…except cups. Tent was slightly different than pictured but it kept us dry during a few raining nights.

Melvin was great to work with, really went above and beyond as a host. The truck is as advertised and made for a great adventure on the island, he includes literally everything you need - all we had to do was grocery shop! (Even a Bluetooth converter to play your trip tunes).

Great experience working with Melvin! He was quick to communicate with and answered all my questions. Pick up and drop off was easy. The truck was great! We didn't end up needing to use the camping material, but it looked like it was packed with lots of great camping gear! Unfortunately, the week we were there, the rain was too heavy so we never took it out to camp. We'll have to try another time because it looked like lots of fun to camp in. We did use the truck to take us around the island and it was comfortable and reliable.
