Mauvaise expérience avec ce véhicule et son propriétaire. A peine monté dans le véhicule, le voyant de la pression des pneus s’allume. Les freins sont très fatigué. Quelques jours plus tard, c’est au tour du voyant moteur. Le propriétaire nous conseille de l’emmener au garage pour qu’ils nous disent ce qu’elle a. Belle blague que de passer une après midi dans un garage pendant des vacances à plus de 12000km de chez nous. Bref, énormément de problème avec celui ci.

We had an amazing trip to Kauai, had planned to camp much of the time, but only ended up camping 2 nights, the tent was easy to set up and everything we needed was included.

Jeep was in good working order and clean however there were several camping supplies that were missing. The butane container for the stove ran out halfway through cooking dinner the first nightm and there wasn't a backup. Cooking supplies were minimal and could have been in better condition. Also fyi a tent and ground mattress are included however when I asked for a full inventory this was not included and so we brought a tent with us all the way from Australia unnecessarily. Overall was a great experience and cool way to see the island but more supplies and better communication would've made the trip a lot easier.

Justin and his team provided all the essentials for a solid Kauai camping experience. However, the Jeep is older and has various issues. Additionally, expect a cleaning fee of $75-150 regardless of how well you clean the vehicle

The worst part of my trip to Kauai was dealing with this rental. Where do I even start? On our second day we got an unfortunate flat tire only to find that none of the tools were in the Jeep to change it. We then had to flag down strangers to get the tools which took a couple hours in all. As a result we missed a $400 boat tour. When reaching out to Justin he showed little care and said he’d take inventory when we were done, clearly indicating he doesn’t do proper inventory before each rental. Secondly 5 minutes into our trip we got the engine light. Stressed out that this could mean a serious hamper on our trip we reached out to Justin who was clearly aware that this was going to happen. Turns out it’s a harmless sensor error but this is something you should disclose to your renters. Worst of all, after we returned the Jeep, Justin said he would be taking $75 dollars because the tent was wet! The tent was wet because it rained the night before! What use is a tent if you aren’t allowed to let it get rained on. Very frustrating that Justin went for another money grab even after the other issues we had.

The Jeep ran great, the thing that came most in handy was a regular tent that you can use for non-car camping (which we ran into). Communication with the host could have been better, but we didn’t really run across any issues so it was fine. Had a great time!

It was a bit pricey but it was perfect for our camping trip. It rained often and stayed completely dry inside every night. Very easy to set up and take down quickly.
