2010 Keystone RV Montana Hickory
One of a kind 38' Solar Ready Keystone Montana fifth wheel that was completely redesigned and renovated. This RV served as our family home for almost a year. It has everything you need to live comfortably away from home.This RV is equipped with solar power (1,500 watts) with 500ah battery bank. It could potentially be used in an off-grid situation with specific approval of rental location and logistics of the trip. Most things in the RV can be run off of solar including all lights, plugs, TVs, microwave, heater, water pump, toaster, electric kettle, fans, vents etc. While the washer, dryer and rooftop ACs can technically be run off of solar, it is not recommended as these draw a lot of power. If you need AC and will be offgrid then inquire for more information as there is a solution using a much more efficient window AC unit.This rig is equipped with a propane stove/oven, residential size microwave, large and deep kitchen sink with drinking water filtration system, propane furnace and hot water heater, dual-zone A/C, shower, separate toilet, washer/dryer, vacuum, kid-friendly bunk bed (2 memory foam mattresses), 1 queen size memory foam mattress in the master suite, and a pull out sofa (queen). Lots of extra storage in the outdoor compartment, above the couch, under the bed, in the benches and much more! Large pantry! RecommendationsHighly recommend delivery if you do not have experience pulling an RV. This RV is heavy and requires a 1-ton pickup truck with fifth-wheel hitch to haul. Other things to noteABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE!
If going to smoke please do it outdoors and shut all of the windows and vents.Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. Only small dogs or cats will be considered if they are potty trained and will not be destructive to the RV.Please return the RV reasonably clean with all trash cleaned up, dishes washed and put away. Please strip beds and place bedding by the laundry.

My wife and I sold our home last year and bought an RV. We completely redesigned and renovated it ourselves to meet the needs of our family over the 8 months that we lived in it full time. We enjoyed traveling across the country for a month while transitioning from Texas to Maine. We stayed on beaches, in campgrounds, boondocking using Harvest Hosts. For the last several months that we lived in the RV we were almost completely off-grid using solar (besides water hookup and sewer of course!) We would love the chance to share our home away from home with you!
