Martin and Nancy are excellent owners and were wonderful to work with. Their RV was in great shape and we had no issues. We will certainly look to rent from them again when we plan our next Colorado area adventure.

The Travato was well appointed, with plenty of storage space available for our food and clothing. It was both easy and comfortable to drive. Communicating with Martin was always fast and easy as well. I would definitely rent this van again for my next road trip.

Martin was excellent to work with. He was very friendly and explained how to use all the features of the RV. Martin was very diligent in doing a walk around to check, point out and record any damage to the RV before I signed the contract. I would highly recommended renting from him.

Everything about this experience was great. Martin gave us a very complete orientation and we learned a lot about vans. It was perfectly set up for two people and very easy to drive and live in. Would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to learn about vanlife and/or have a great trip. Thanks!

Martin was very easy to work with and his vehicle is super clean and ready to go.....I was not that familiar with the systems on the Travato... He explained them well... but I still recommend watching the video explaining the systems....

A great trip from the collegiate peaks to RMNP. Not a single issue with the travato it worked as advertised, and Martin was available if we needed help. The only question is why we waited so long to take this trip. Outdoorsy and Martin were exactly as advertised

Martin was great to work with. The Travato was exactly as listed. No surprises, everything worked well. Martin did a very good job walking us through the various systems on the RV which made it easy for us to use on our first RV adventure. :-) Would highly recommend Martin and his Travato.

This was our first rv experience and our main goal for this trip was to utilize it in different settings (full hook up to boondock) and see if class B rving was for us. The rv was well stocked, immaculate and in great mechanical condition. We reviewed the suggested video on the rv systems and it laid a sound foundation for Martin’s extensive and well done walk through. The Travato 59k is a great set up for two people. We really like the openess of the layout and the simplicity of the systems. We highly recommend you give Martin’s rv a try.

My wife and I had been researching Travatos after we saw one at an RV show, and we knew absolutely nothing about the RV experience in general. We liked the Travato because it seemed like it had everything you need, and so we started looking up websites that rented Travatos. We were planning on a trip through New Mexico, and Martin's Tiny House on Wheels outside of Denver was the closest we could find, the others being Las Vegas or Arizona. When we contacted Martin, he responded within a few hours. We booked for the end of March/beginning of April for 10 days. We were excited about our booking, never having had any experience with an RV, but with plenty of tent camping behind us. Martin sent us a link to an online video from a Travato dealer that explained the entire vehicle with all systems, which helped considerably later on.
We flew into Denver (from Chicago), and made arrangements for the following day to get the Travato. We Ubered to our meeting point and met Martin, who explained everything about how the Travato works; having watched the video helped shorten the learning curve a lot. Martin was very thorough, and within an hour we were ready to start our adventure and waved goodbye.
We had a blast on our trip, and the Travato was a major part of the fun. Being able to wheel into a campsite and be up and running in minutes was a big change from backpacking and tent camping. The kitchen, while small, has pretty much everything you need to make decent meals. The onboard refrigerator was awesome. The bed can either be two twins or one queen. And having a bath and a shower onboard: what more can you ask for?
Connections for sites with electric/water/sewer are made within minutes. Disconnection is pretty much the same thing. The rig has enough tank capacity for fresh water and used water to keep you going for at least three days, more if you're conserving. Emptying the tanks and flushing them is about ten to fifteen minutes, and Martin has a pretty easy system to follow. He has organized everything you'll need, and the organization helps to keep everything in place and tidy when you pack up.
The vehicle drives like a big van. Once you get used to the length and the height, you can drive it anywhere. We were able to park in regular parking spots in Santa Fe to get out and browse shops, and it went up some pretty steep park roads in Las Cruces. If you've ever driven a full sized van before, or even a big SUV, you won't have any problems. It has a backup camera, and I found it very maneuverable for parking. Very easy on gas; it was really no worse than filling up my Acura sedan with premium. In the end, we loved the Travato experience so much, we are definitely planning to get our own within a year or so.
Our overall experience with Martin was great. I had a couple of questions early on while we were on the road (trying to hook up the electrical connection), and Martin responded within a few minutes and got me going. The rig is fantastic, super organized, and has everything you need from tableware to linens. Storage is a little limited, so if you're coming with suitcases, I recommend using a duffle that can be collapsed into the storage under the beds.
Try Martin's Tiny House On Wheels - you'll love it! Maybe I'll see you on the road some day!
