From our location, near the banks of the Yellowstone River, there are literally hundreds of places to visit and explore, ranging from campgrounds along the river to Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole and beyond. Big Sky Country is at your beck and call. We offer a fully outfitted camper with bedding, pillows, dishes, cutlery, cookware and out door camping chairs. We'll even throw in a bag of coffee and a bottle of wine.
What's included
We have driven our camper from here, in Livingston, Montana, to Southern Arizona and back several times. It handles well on the freeway and is incredibly easy to maneuver. One of the beds spans the rear of the camper and the other is located in the pop-up. Both are comfortable and roomy. We have over 6 feet of headroom and seating is comfortable.
Recommendations
The north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and its wonders, is just under an hour to the south of us. On the way, you might want to stop at Chico Hot Springs for a dip, or just keep going and sit in the hot pots at the park. The park is incredible and you will likely encounter elk, bison, wolves and bears. and If the park isn't enough, Jackson Hole is easily reached and there are several camping spots that are both scenic and affordable. Alternative trips could include Big Sky or, if you are up for a few hours drive, you might make your way up to Glacier national park and to the west, the Flathead Lake country.
Other things to note
Dogs are welcome, smoking in the van, pot or cigarettes, is not. I smoke and wait for a scenic stop to light up. festivals are fine, but we ask that you treat our camper as if it were your own, with respect and please keep it clean.
