I'm a busy professional that loves the idea of freedom that an RV provides. Fully equipped with your "creature comforts" and perfect for that quick getaway. Nature flows through my veins, and my spirit feeds off the love of animals, the smell of the forest and those moments that get frozen in your memory from which you can access at will when your day isn't going the way you expected. I lost my Shepherd Romeo about a year ago to cancer and still have my bigger than life teeny dog "Louie". More of a pocket companion... some day I will get matched up with a new 4 legged friend.
Freida is a real catch as she is the smallest of Class C avail - great for curvy mtn road driving and lives large with big windows (and shades of course) for light and enjoying the outdoors from the inside. I looked for 3 years for a smaller sized motor home that had all the bells and whistles. Having a slide seemed like it would make a world of difference. What I love about this one is the bedroom area is the slide out with a walk around (ok scooch around) bed area so you don't have to climb over someone to get up in middle of the night. It creates a separate bedroom. She has a full bathroom with a real shower and vanity! If you're into cooking this kitchen has it all, microwave, larger fridge, separate freezer and it even has an oven, A/C and great heater, along with a 4000 generator, equipped with solar too! If it's rainy outside you can watch a flick on the 40" TV!

Frieda was great. Our kids wanted to buy her to drive all the way back home!
So let me tell you what you can do: rent Freida and drive her up to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Why? Because Freida makes camping in Yellowstone so easy! The campsites are generally tiny, and they are pretty strict about length limits. When you get there, you can see why. Simply no room for a big rig. The other trick with Freida: the minute you get up in the morning, before coffee or anything else, go ahead and drive to your daily destination. You will get a sweet parking spot, sometimes in the shade (!), and then you can make coffee/tea, and breakfast right in the parking lot. Trust me, you will not regret this method. Parking is the greatest challenge at Yellowstone that nobody tells you about. And you can also use it as base camp and have lunch there. Another tip: going to the most popular spots later in the evening is also a great way to see some of the best features in the parks, and Freida gives you the flexibility to have easy dinners on the road, too. She is the perfect size for four people, and is so easy to park. She has all the creature comforts you need, and being on the small side makes her so much more maneuverable than most RVs. This method works equally well at Grand Tetons! BTW, the picture is from the Hayden Valley in Yellowstone. I know the pic is not Freida herself, but you can see that we were able to go early in the morning and park on the side of the road and literally the bison walked around us to cross the road in the morning. You can just barely see the door jamb on the far right of the frame. THAT is how close they were! Breakfast with the bison... who can beat that?

It was a wonderful first time (newby) RV experience. Fredia was easy to drive. She kept us warm, even in 27 degree temps. There were 2 of us and we had separate sleeping spaces, which was nice. We didn't encounter any mechanical problems on the road and were able to do the hookups at the RV campsites just fine. I'm already looking forward to my next RV trip.

Freida was great Good size for a quarantine retirement road trip.
Kristin was easy and flexible to work with. Even allowing us to pick up early. The info I found online regarding Thor 2019 Freedom Elite 22’ RV with slide out says that the main bed is queen size bed. It is not. I know this because my husband is 6’1”, and his feet were hanging over the end of the bed. They don’t hang out of a queen size. And our queen size sheets were not snug. We saw manuals in the vehicle that were for a 2018 Thor Freedom Elite. I was a little disappointed, but the bed was still pretty comfortable. Freida is equipped with all the hoses and drain pipes, cleaning supplies, and stuff I thought I needed. And lots of stuff I didn’t need. All of the outside storage spaces were full, and a few of the interior storage spaces were full. All in all it was a good trip for us newbies!
