Meet your host, Scott

We are a family of 3 + German Shepherd. Our reason for buying an RV was to have an escape pod during these crazy times. It's nice to have some conveniences and if we don't like an area where are camping, then we just hit the road! Our goal is to start exploring national parks and other sites to help educate and inspire our son.

This RV drives beautifully, is very well equipped, has lots of storage, and is very comfortable. We loved being able to take our dog camping with us. Scott gave a remarkably thorough orientation and was available and responsive to our text questions as RV rookies. Great experience!

We had an amazing escape!! 12 days, over 6,000 miles, 8 national parks, 3 state parks and 4 national monuments! My son who lives in LA drove to Joshua Tree to meet us, hadn't seen or hugged him over 15 months! I cooked before we left and froze lasgana, tacos, sloppy joes and pulled pork. We brought a toaster and our Kuerig-we only ate out at an In and Out burgers in Las Vegas because we just had to! We only paid for two campsites, we boondocked everywhere else. We brought our ebikes and our tent to use as a garage for them when out adventuring without them. It was sooooo effiecent to be able to leave the king bed set up for the entire trip. We could roll in late and just fall alseep and get up early to hit the road with a hot cup of coffee and not have to do anything but drive away! The seats were so comfy I hated to go back to our regular vehicle. The radiant heated floors were wonderful-we were never cold. Having a fully stocked kitchen with the freezer and fridge were a game-changer for these tent campers! We absolutley would do this trip again. We had some minor issues along the way and Scott was available and responsive to our calls/texts.

What a great way to travel! The Sprinter handled more like a souped-up van than an RV, with lots of power and acceleration, responsive and stable handling, and wonderful visibility. The in-floor heat kept us cozy on a couple of below-freezing nights. The bed was so comfortable! We brought a foam mattress topper, but probably didn't need it.
Scott and Michelle are so accommodating and helpful! They have equipped the rig with everything you might need, and then some. The kitchen, though small, is ready for real cooking, and there's a large pantry. There is a surprising amount of storage throughout, especially for a class B.
We did experience a mechanical breakdown that required Mercedes to fix. In dealing with the breakdown, the Outdoorsy Customer Service was among the worst I've ever experienced. Fortunately, Scott worked diligently to make up for the shortcomings of Outdoorsy, and got us back underway.
Thanks Scott!

Rented the RV for a trip from WI to SC and GA, Christmas 2020. We were new to RV-ing and Scott was very helpful explaining the features of the camper, and providing videos for us to get familiar with this particular RV. He was responsive both before the trip and during the trip, via email and phone, so any questions were answered quickly. The van was clean and sanitized before we picked it up. There were 2 adults and 1 dog on the trip--we used the RV for overnight sleeping, but didn't do any cooking. Though we drove South in December, the weather was cold--getting into the 20's some nights. No problems keeping the RV warm at night using propane heat. (We didn't stay at any campsites, so had no hookups). Scott & Michelle provide everything to make the RV trip like staying in an air BNB: Kitchen stuff, toiletries, soap, first aid kit, sanitizer, etc. There are 3 bucket seats in the front of the van, and the bench seat in the rear has seatbelts too, so a passenger can sit back there during the road trip and get things done, or watch TV (we didn't use the TV, but it was available). Would definitely recommend this RV!
