Great car and tent!! The car runs very smoothly and the tent kept us dry even though we camped during one of the worst storms of the year. Well equipped (loved the hangmat) and pick-up and drop-off were easy. Thank you!

Cole and Maria are so nice, they were very communicative, shared great tips for traveling all over this island, especially local favorites, and provided us all that we needed (including extra blankets, sleeping bags, and fruit). We definitely recommend renting from this couple!

Cole and Maria were super awesome with in time communications, sharing neat tips to visit the island the local way and went above and beyond by providing us all the amenities we needed (including extra blankets, umbrella, tent, fruits!!! From the backyard and wonderful stories and experiences from the island).

Almost three weeks camping in the Xterra with the kids. We Gad a great time. The truck brought everywhere we wanted on Maui. Cole provided us with all the camping gear we needed. Overall it was an incredible trip!

This is my 2nd year renting with Cole and the Xterra and it was as great of an experience as it was last year. Check in/check out process with Cole is smooth and Coles gives plenty of tips ( try his Uncles/Aunts restaurant. It has great fish). The Xterra is by far the best way to explore Maui, especially if you are doing Hana and get a chance to camp at Wainapanap or Kipahulu. The camper tent is super easy to set up and has space for two. Cole also has a tent incase you prefer to sleep on the ground or if you have 4 in your party. I felt confident driving the xterra in Hana as it handles well during the turns. If you are on the fence about renting from Cole, I say get it before someone else does!!

The SUV was great, it had a lot of camping gear provided for you like a stove, pillows, a cooler, and more. We went around the island with it and it was very reliable. Dropping it off was challenging to us because it is hard to get taxi in such a remote area and the bus doesn’t come very often. When the bus #40 finally came, the driver refused us because our luggage was “oversized “. That was very stressful It’s better to have to plan beforehand by organizing a taxi before you drop off the SUV.

The owner is super nice, because we were traveling to Maui for the first time, so we asked about some of their recommended attractions and places to stay. They patiently introduced and explained to us, and also provided us with some daily necessities. We'll look for them again when we get the chance.

Tent is super easy to use, especially realized it after watching other people at the campsite struggle with theirs. The unlock on the key fob does not work, which was inconvenient in the middle of the night when the car alarm went off and I had to get down out of from the tent to go to the driver door to manually unlock to get the alarm to stop. Otherwise sufficient camper.

My experience was great, owner was extremely responsive and reliable. Met with his wife and she gave us a few avocados for our trip. Was really a pleasure to speak with. Gave us a couple ideas on where to go ! Will def rentwith them again !
