September Special! Huge discount on long term rental.
I have some travel of my own planned. Pickup between 8/25 - 8/29 and I'll take an additional $500 off the already low monthly rental price. This is a great opportunity to see the country and scratch that itch for vanlife. While the promotion is active, I won't be taking short term reservations between 8/25 and 10/6.
Now offering off-street parking for your vehicle and an optional bike rack as an add-on!
Fantastic option for a lone traveler or couple. Great rental for your festival experience - these are made for easy clean up and are basically indestructible. Please don't attempt to break anything though. I'm not the most fantastic carpenter. The twin bed is very comfortable and firm, surprisingly so. The truck does have three seat belts, so you could conceivably add a third occupant if a child wanted to sleep on the floor or someone wanted to camp out - on the roof perhaps?! Or maybe you feel inclined to perform an act of kindness and pick up someone hitchhiking.
For anyone interested in what vanlife is like, this is it. It's my second build and will eventually be my home in Honduras. If you really want to get away from it all and have a wonderful journey across the country, look no further. Rentals of a month or more include unlimited mileage. Fully stocked, it is totally realistic that you could go off the beaten path for two months without needing to return for supplies. What other small RV owner can make that claim? Easily store 100 gallons of fresh water for your trip with plenty of extra space for canned and dry food.
A former support service vehicle with an ambulance box, this is equally comfortable in the city and on the open road. Easy to drive. Can tow anything. The uses are practically limitless. I encourage people who want to bring their pets at no additional cost, and I do allow smoking. Interior height in the cabin is 5'8". The rear double doors open wide and let in all the fresh air, sunlight, or seabreeze you could ask for.
TONS of storage inside and out for food, water, gear. 42 gallon water tank inside the cabin with plans for another 40 gallon reserve under the bed, a small sink, as well as rear cabin air conditioning and heat from the factory, and a dorm sized fridge. There are two ways to power your accessories, the wired power inverter while the motor is running, or a small generator. If you happen to run the batteries down, not to fear. I have a heavy duty battery charger you can run off the generator.
This motorhome is stocked with everything you need! While I am bound to miss something, here is the list:
two burner cooktop
all of the pots pans and dishes you’ll need
battery powered shower head
immersion water heater to get bath water nice and hot
privacy tent for bathing
collapsible insulated shower bucket
non-toxic eco-friendly soap
adjustable height roll up table for two
folding camp chairs
sun touch sunlamp to get you that vitamin D if the weather is lousy
hitch mounted bike rack for a small fee (subject to availability)
5 gallon camper toilet hidden away under one of the rear seats.
Drive it to California and back! Legendary 7.3 Powerstroke diesel motor is bulletproof and gets better fuel economy than a typical gas motorhome.
If you're curious about van life and want to try it out before jumping in, this is the rig to rent. It's a simple build with most of the amenities you'd find in a traditional RV. Please note, this was an ambulance, then a municipal work vehicle before being converted. While it is clean inside, you will find ample signs of use such as scuffs, marks, and small holes where equipment was previously mounted.
While it isn't the prettiest rig online, I think she is wonderful and it is a one of a kind experience to live in her. I've spent as long as two months straight as well as Boston winters living in machine like this. I've built a few. Don't miss out.
Please note! I am generally unable to accommodate rentals which start or end on the first or last day of a given month during the summer. 8/31 and 9/1 are the two busiest days of the year for me as an example. This applies only to pickup and drop off, if the truck is available, these dates are not excluded.
